I've been playing the show since it was created, I skipped last year because of all the microtransactions, was trying to boycott, but as always I couldn't help myself lol

Anyways, is it just me or are cards overalls right out of the gate insanity right now??? How do we have so many cards over 95 overall at launch???

    They are.

The team said they did not like the pattern they had established where they start with 90 and then slowly ramp up the cards as the year went on. Many players complained that they were getting the best players too late when there was no new content to use them on.

They are justifying the high overalls out of the gate by making cards belong to sets. By the time the all star game rolls around all of these cards that are part of set 1 will no longer be valid for Ranked seasons and some Conquest and Mini Seasons

I'm still unsure how I feel about sets at the present time but if they are going to try this thing with 99s out of the gate imo sets are 100% required to come with it. One without the other would be monumentally worse than this may or may not be

Yeah, I am still not sold on sets. We'll see how it goes.

Even if I hate it I don't have to worry too much about it until the all star break when set 1 rotates off.
