If I read it correctly, when search Sets, it goes all the way up to Set 6. So I'm assuming it will also go to Season 6.
If that's the case, unless something changes, Set 1 cards will become obsolete until after the WS.

Why offline players?
It would affect online players too.
And Set 1 cards would be obsolete at the all-star break (July 7th) when season 3 starts, with the exception a single Wild card choice.

Actually that doesn’t affect offline nearly as bad. We can still use whatever cards we want against the CPU and certain conquests and mini seasons from what I recall.
