Ok, to the point of your thread, I personally like this change a lot and though I suspect these will be somewhat watered down, they’ll still be great to use most of the season.
I’m a big fan of roster building and having to try different cards but I like that we can start having staples early on.

My thoughts are that you might wanna reread the whole thing and hit the edit button a few times haha.
I commented on this in the other thread about the WBC players.
My concern is if they keep releasing all these cards, and keep the Parallel aspect in the game, people are either going to get burned out fast or they're going to be complaining that they just released another 99 and the previous one isn't even paralleled.
While it should make for some interesting lineups online; people who like to play offline and want to parallel a card to a certain level before moving on will be so overwhelmed.
Also, until I start seeing some 97-99 SPs, instead of mostly batters, it's going to be horrendous when you're starter is an 84 OVR and youre facing 99s.
Going to make Mini Seasons awful; in my opinion.

It will be interesting. For me, there are 99's and then there are NINETY-NINE's. Finest McCutchen? NINETY NINE. Takashi Willie Mays? Meh... 99.
I still would LOVE for SDS to take the whole ranking thing up to 125. I'm an accountant by trade, so numbers are important to me. 99's seem like an arbitrary limit at this point.

That’s what conquest & mini are for. Even if there are a handful of Set 1s you haven’t paralleled, those set 2-3 cards are going to be better so you’ll want to have them in ranked.

This brings up a good point that set 1 may be useless later on so it will def bring some variety to the game
