Exactly. Bonds always had exclusive rights to his name and likeness....which is how we ended up with Reggie Stocker. Even when he was playing, he refused to be in games.
He was in SEGA baseball games so its not like he was never in games.
And when he withdrew from the MLBPA in 2003 and took exclusive rights to his name and likeness, he refused to be in any games....
Before then, he didn't have a say.
So after MLB 2003, he didnt appear in any games while he was playing. Is that better?

I just saw it while watching The Office and i caught a glimpse of both Sosa and McGwire. Definitely legit.

Ken Griffey Jr's winning run on SNES - they had all the guys but without officially naming them - so I believe Bolt Lightning was Randy Johnson, and there was tons of other "nicknames" replicating the feel of the real life counterparts
