I’ll be playing MLBTS on it.

Should I get a different controller than what’s in the box? I don’t see that it comes with a USB-C cable for charging or playing wired with the controller. If it does (and it’s not listed), how long is the cable?

Anything else I should consider? I live in the mountains and it’s a long trek to the store (even longer with all the snow we’ve been getting), so I want to make sure I get what I need in one shot.

I know 22 is on Game Pass, so I’m not getting that.

I have an 42” LG C2 I’ll be connecting it to, how long is the HDMI cable?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You need a power a wired controller for PPP out of box one no good for it.

I'm looking on the Best Buy website and I see there are different kinds of Power A controllers. Are they just named differently, or are there actual differences in performance? I see:

    1. Pro 2 Wired ($60 & $80)
    2. Spectra Enhanced Wired ($43)
    3. Enhanced Wired ($38)

If there isn't a performance difference, I don't see the point in paying almost $50 more for the same controller.

Just curious....does wired mean it doesn't charge and you can't use wireless? You are my test dummy brother. I would never be able to play baseball with a wired controller. Way to animated with my hands when I'm swinging hahahahaha

Yes, wired is tethered. I've been reading up on it and it's supposed to be more accurate. A review I watched said the Pro Fusion was more accurate than the Enhanced wired.

From what I've been able to tell, the one that comes with the Xbox runs on AAA batteries, but there are rechargeable battery packs made by third parties. I won't know for sure until mine comes in.

That was such a fun game. We were sad when they shut the servers down.

I'm still stuck between getting an Xbox Series X or a PS5. But I do know, if I'm going to be around that weekend, whichever console I'm getting; I'm buying the game.

For what I'd pay for Game Pass (only needing it to play this game) I'm better off buying the Dig Deluxe and getting Early Access.

Don’t sleep on Xbox gamepass. It has a lot of quality games that you can play. You can also stack up to 3 years for $1 add on fee.

They improved the way the included Xbox gamepad works with the Show since this time last year. Some time in the last 6 Months I believe it was. So if you dont get a Power A right away you should be fine. The Power A is now just a little bit better than the original, as opposed to a necessity a year ago.

And I grabbed this rechargeable battery pack from Walmart for pretty cheap. Just plugs into the wall.

Thanks everyone. Now, I have to wait for the snow to stop and the roads to clear so I can get out of the mountains to pick up my new goodies 😁🥶

    @John3221_PSN @Pennstatefencer_MLBTS @Wolfgar64_XBL

Thank you for the info on getting three years of Game Pass Ultimate at a much lower price than the monthly subscription. If only I had thought to buy the Xbox Live Gold subscriptions at Costco...I could have saved myself an additional $15. Oh well - next time.

    Thank you again.
