I like the game and playing 9 innings.
I like using low pitchers vs the CPU on Legend to level the playing fieldI hate the stupid missiins and challenges.
I just like actually playing w my guys.
I sincerely hope SDS makes playing full 9 inning games vs the CPU a path to cards as well.Looking at the hours I played is disgusting.
But it had a purpose to get me the cards I like.Unfortunately I like Mantle in CF
AND that did me in.I think I would pay $250 for the game and all the cards unlocked.
Then I would get to play w my guys and not shitty missions.
I do agree, I wish there were more in game missions and less moments. The other program showdowns are fine because they are only like 4 levels and are relatively easy.
I definitely wouldn’t want all the cards unlocked. Most of the fun for me is collecting the cards. That’s like saying I wish I could push a button and be drunk. Where’s the fun in that haha.

Yeah if I could just unlock all the cards just like that, I'd drop the game pretty fast tbh
-
I would gladly pay $1K for the game and just all live series cards unlocked after download/install.

I stink at the game.
My internet is slow and my reactions and eyes perhaps worse. And play on big tv
So yes i stink
But i want to earn my cards by playing in game missions.
Not all this silliness with my hitting in these pointless moments.
Too much time sink.

Hey, why do you mention this? Is this why my online games have been such a wretched experience?

The big tv and the shitty refresh rate
Equals [censored] show. Can’t time up anything.
Pitches jump on me.

A lot of people play The Show on a gaming monitor due to the response times and refresh rates. It does make for better playing.

Well now that certainly makes a lot of sense, really. Hmm…now I’ve something to think about now. So a ‘gaming monitor’, huh? Forgive my ignorance, please, but would there be a place or website where one could find a list of what kind of tech specs to use as a potential guideline for what to look for? I’ve played twice online since purchasing TheShow22 on ps5, and both experiences were unpleasant to say the least, despite having a wired connection…which I thought would’ve been the better way to try and go about online play when compared to wireless anyhow. Does anyone have a recommendation on size and so on? I’m worried that if it’s too small that I won’t be able to see the ball at all haha! I’m glad this was mentioned because it’s the first I’ve ever heard of this but I’m keen to give this my attention. I’d certainly appreciate any advice and would give any and all recommendations an ear, such is my gratitude for anyone who took the time to lend assistance.

You definitely need a monitor if you want to compete online.
I've taken my console other places and their 55 inch tv on game mode just doesn't cut it.
I can't hit the meter while pitching and can't touch anything at the plate because it's so delayed.
I have a cheap LG 24GN50W and it doess the job. Looking to get something different. They'll be guys here who can give you some good advise on what to look for.

With the PS5 you want something that will allow you to turn on the 120hz and VRR options. I'm really not that savvy about all those specs but relied on friends on the forum. My monitor was quite pricey last year but I'm still loving it. It is a Gigabyte M32U 4K monitor with a 32" screen. I know some guys are talking about how LG OLED TV's with game settings have been great also. So you need to look as fast response times, fast refresh rates, no lag, 120hz and VRR settings. Others can chime in if I'm missing anything.
