Digital Deluxe like every year. Im not buying it right this second but i'll be pre-ordering a few days before launch.

I know I said I was on the fence about buying 23 because the arthritis in my hands makes it difficult to enjoy the game, but with the announcement of the Negro League players joining the game, I will, in fact, be purchasing the game. Whether I play it much or not, I don't know, but I will be buying it.
I am still on the fence about the Digital Deluxe or Captain editions because I want the steel book and hat, but I also want access early in the morning.
Same here my friend. The Negro Leagues addition moved the needle for me. I was likely going to skip a new version this year but just watched the video with the Negro Leagues HOF president that SDS put out and this looks supercool. Interesting that did this AND Jeter in the same year. We can only hope that some of the Negro League ball fields will be in this. Last year was the first year I felt the game got stale and SDS was dropping the ball. Gotta give them credit on this gigantic move though.

I'm still debating. I feel like I gained a good understanding of the market and how to advance in the game, but it's so time-consuming.
It can be if you sit in the market but here is what I usually do:
Volume matters more than profit. In the time it takes you to find a card and sell (usually multiple relists) with 1K profit I can buy and sell cards that earn 4x that. Volume is king.
So figure out what the movers and shakers are early on. Usually silver and bronze cards will fly for the first few weeks. Silver and gold equipment too.
Filter to a list of cards, say 77-79 LS cards. Place buy orders on the entire list. Go away and do some work and come back an hour later. Cancel the buy orders that didn't complete. Put sell orders on cards that did complete, rinse and repeat.
I do this 3-4x a day using the app, website or in game. The entire process for the day takes no longer than maybe 30-40 mins.
Do this early to stack stubs and you will have LS completed within two weeks then you only need to work the market for 15-20/day to keep building stubs for investment purposes.
Topps cards are also big movers. It usually takes a few weeks of topps cards being released to make that worth the time but by June you can easily make 15-30K/day just off tops cards in 20 mins throughout the day.
Again, the key is bulk buy and sell orders. Don't worry about losing some stubs on a card or two of three. You will make it up with Volume. And don't worry that there might only be a 25 stub profit margin. Quickly buying/listing cards you make up for low profit with high volume.

that's usually how I do it unless I hit a parlay or something prior to release night... with any game release I look at my last check before release... I'm going to cut it close but it looks like I can preorder that Thursday morning before work or Thursday night after work in time to predownload and be ready to go at midnight... just gotta figure out if I can preorder Captains Edition but will most likely buy that outright to add to my physical collection... still need to get my hands on 19 physical (only have that one digitally)... so that I can have every MLB The Show game on PS3/PS4/PS5 from 07-now.

Digital Deluxe.
I usually get the MVP edition with the hat and everything (and the box art looks cool)...however, the digital deluxe version is currently more suitable for me.

Not sure I was just commenting on how ridiculous it is to have all the jerseys available in DD and yet we are stuck with home whites and road grays in online rated and co-op

Standard PS5 Edition. After the first month I usually am caught up on program progress. I'd rather save the extra $30 for other stuff..

No offline it’s co-op regular teams me and my buddies using the Reds vs everyone else using Dodgers/Yankees

Absolutely not! Will be the first time I pass since 14. It is the same game every year. I will get PGA tour with the Masters this year and when the baseball itch hits I'll try franchise or RTTS. Perhaps if 24 offers an overall, drops the moments and showdown stuff I'll return. I was about to pass last year but mini seasons pulled me in. Absolutely will not this year.

Still debating. Skipped last year but the negro league players are intriguing. Thursdays stream will go along way if u can play DD with the new cards. Also Josh Gibson, Cool Papa Bell and Oscar Charleston need to be included.

I'll buy cheapest version. The four day early access isn't worth it because the people who get it wreck me in online play. The packs and stubs are pointless as I always get all the cards by end of year regardless.

This is just Season 1. Season 2 is next year and will have more great players. I'm glad to see that SDS has made a long-term commitment to this!

I didn't buy last year's game because I played so much in 21 that I got burned out. I'm leaning toward buying this year, but I'm waiting for the dd content stream before I make my final decision. If I do buy, for financial reasons I'll be sticking with the standard edition.

Gamepass sounds really cool, but until the makers of final fantasy stop being so stupid when it comes to putting their games on xbox, sony owns my soul. The show isn't the only game I play.

After tech test I pre ordered the DD . Back in the day I could spend that amount in a evening at a bar. ROI is much better.
One thing I don't get is why I am staring at Jazz when I paid for the DD cover art?
