Is SDS donating $ to the Jackie Robinson Foundation this year for deluxe versions purchased?

Since 21 they have donated $1 for every deluxe version of the game sold. Will they be doing that this year? Or maybe donating to Jeter’s foundation?

I don't see why not. Thought they would've mentioned something with the announcement today but if they don't I imagine they still make a donation even if not directly related to the sales for the game or a specific edition.

I don't think they were doing a stream for Jeter. I think it was just the Fallon appearance and the video they released earlier in the day... but I could be wrong as I'm just now getting back in the Twitch stream loop.

Nope. I mean, I donate to the foundation, but if I buy 23, one of the copies will be a version they donate from.

It's been confirmed that SDS is donating $1 to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum for every Digital Deluxe and Captain Edition sold.

Definitely makes sense, not mad at this at all... I imagine JRF still gets some type of donation from SONY yearly... but either way I will try to get my hands on a Captains Edition in addition to the Digital Deluxe that I'll be preordering just ahead of release.

Definitely makes sense, not mad at this at all... I imagine JRF still gets some type of donation from SONY yearly... but either way I will try to get my hands on a Captains Edition in addition to the Digital Deluxe that I'll be preordering just ahead of release.
I've been thinking about doing this and giving the disc away. I want the steel book and the hat, but I also want access early in the morning (and not have to wait for FedEx as I did in '21). I can replace the disc later in the year for $10 when the price drops. That may be a good way to get someone to play the game that normally wouldn't. It's kind of extreme, so I don't know if I will do that or not.

Definitely something that I wish I could do if my Youtube suddenly took off. Depending on if I need a disc to play on other PSNs or not I might just give the disc away... I have some game cases back from when I got other games I no longer play from GameFly... I might have to strongly consider this if I do go forward with getting Captains Edition.
