Captain obvious is a commonly used term. People tend to use it when someone points out a stupidly obvious thing that everyone knows and therefore didn’t need to be said. Example: “Jeter doesn’t care what any of us think”If you still don’t get it and just want to go “hehehe triggered” that’s fine but it just proves you’re an idiot and don’t understand what I’m saying.
You seem to be getting worked up over something we agree on (I.e. players don’t care what we think), which is a little weird and unhinged. I guess we aren’t allowed to make statements here anymore. Gatekeepers like you make these boards toxic. The majority of your posts are attacking people for participating on a forum.
You’re making a non-issue into an issue and being hostile for no reason. Maybe tune back the hostility and name calling but that seems to be what you do here. I would imagine someone currently evading a ban on their PSN account would be a little more careful. You keep doing you though.

Derek Jeter was a shortstop for the New York Yankees baseball team. He wasn't Batman nor any other superhero for that matter.
He was a light hitting defensive shortstop in real life, but will have power and speed in this game for some reason.
I miss sim baseball. This game is turning into Fortnite. It's why they're pushing Japanese anime and this cartoon stuff.
How many times does it really need to explained why they do what they do with the attributes? If you dont like it, go play RBI Baseball or something.
Or, get this, he can play whatever he wants, and hold whatever opinion he, as a paying customer, chooses.
Of course, get this... he can do that. Some people like being miserable pricks who do nothing but complain about games they aren't forced to play while the alternative collects dust on the proverbial shelf..

Bonds will never be in the game. That’s almost a guarantee.
I wouldn't say never but besides the controversy surrounding him and some other players he'd also have to come to some type of agreement with MLB and MLBPA for his likeness as he wasn't in games during his playing days... but who knows, if the controversy doesn't stop him from getting included and negotiations go well we'd almost for sure get Barry Bonds in MLB The Show along with a huge marketing campaign behind his inclusion. I'm not holding my breath but I don't think it's never... it's definitely a longshot though given the additional hurdle of needing his likeness.
