RS record? Rank? And approach to 23?

How many games of RS did yall play? And what was your record? How high did you get? And how do you plan on approaching this upcoming game?
I only played like 8 games of RS because I was too concerned with keeping up with the events and br. I went like 8-0 because I never went above a 500 rating.
This year with money being more of a concern, I plan on not pre-ordering, buying the base game, and playing nms. The last couple years I spent alot. I lose motivation once I complete the LS anyway. Also I plan on playing RS alot more this year, even if I never make WS.
This is my favorite time of year! The Show, although flawed, is always good for a solid 5 months of entertainment.

I played just above 200, made ws twice, which is the lowest amount of games for me so far, I like you was more concerned with keeping up with events and BR. This year I'd like to play more RS, because I just don't play on HoF enough to get used to it, but if the content is similar, I still think BR and events will be my main focus

I played quite a bit, only to achieve pxp missions and get the "bigger" cards. I played more at the end of the season once they reduced the inning count and offered "Rewinds". I'm not a great player, so maxed out at just over 700.
My focus for 2023 will be BR first and foremost. The rewards are great, and I think it's the best gameplay. I like hitting singles and doubles (shocker, I know). Events will be second, depending upon the rewards. A distant last will be RS. It's just too frustrating for me, and not worth the grind (until the summer at least).
I agree with you on your last point, @go4stros25_PSN . I like the anticipation of the new game cycle, even if it's "rinse and repeat". I'm NMS, and enjoy the grind. I take my time, and typically don't finish LS until June/July.

182-207.
Highest Rank Achieved: 669 (7/23)
Failed to achieve Pennant Race only one (stupid 1st season!)Hadn't played BR in 5 years up until a month ago, but was able to cruise through it in about 4 days to pick up the last couple of cards this year. As long as they don't make the IP requirements mega-intensive like the 1st season this year (600?!?), I hopefully can do both. And if that's the case, I should be able to finish LS much earlier since I won't have to buy the early RS/BR cards before they leave mass circulation.

After not playing RS at all last year, I played one season and went 35-13 (Championship Series). After getting to 818 I just stopped though as HOF to me just wasn’t a lot of fun.
Between Events, BR and offline grinds I just didn’t have time for RS this past year and so expect ‘23 to be pretty much the same.

SDS has made Ranked Seasons and 9 inning games irrelevant. This game mode has turned into a circus with 3 inning games, moments and showdowns.
Building a good team and playing 9 used to be the norm. Now it's full of mini games and ridiculous attributes. Guys DO NOT need 125 power for a good day in May.

43-12 Championship Series

152-85 and went WS for the first time in last season. This season I am at ranking 811. My gameplay has improved quite a bit halfway through the game cycle. Last year was my first time playing ever. As long as they release it on gamepass I will probably continue play. I don't spend a dime on the game.
