I'm probably late to the party, but wanted to touch down on this anyway. They absolutely blessed Joe with his 99 card, and I'm all for it. I hope they do this more often, just give a bunch of guys 125 attributes so people will mix up their lineups a little bit and try different guys.

They did it with Ozzie too! I don’t mind it. It’s nice to see different line ups.

I have Torre over Foxx in my Lineup… because he is clearly comparable to Jimmie Foxx and I love that, especially in the endgame cycle

Torre has always had a smooth swing imo but I could never justify playing him over all the other options with godly hitting attributes. If they release a Joe Torre card like this every year, he will play C for me every year.

As an added Torre bonus.
At catcher from Broadcast view he wears old time catching gear which looks correct when playing Retro type lineups.So Torre catches Seaver in my games.
