I have both Damon Jones and Brenden Bielak P5…Jones is starting LHP, Bielak 5 pitch mix reliever.
So I've played this event a ton and hadn't had any problems hitting any pitcher....until I ran into someone throwing Damon Jones last night for the first time. I was the away team so first thing I did during the first AB was check his pitch mix and I'm thinking oh easy win cause his pitch mix is very average. WOW he throws the first pitch and it almost seemed glitchy cause I had no idea what it was or where it was going. Dude pitched him all 3 innings and no hit me. Made me look like i had never played the game before. He's definitely in my event rotation now. Just to throw it out there, I also faced Stephen Ridings once and his pitch mix is only a 4-seam, 2-seam and slider but it's also kinda glitchy when he releases the ball and is hard to pick up.

Starter Aaron Slegers 63 overall. People just must have a hard time with his delivery and him being 6'10''. His pitch break on his sinker is 91 which is really good for a common pitcher, but he doesn't throw hard. I have 60 wins with him alone in moonshot events and I am super close to getting him P5.
+1 for Sledgers. But I’m about to P5 Charlie Barnes who is a 63 but Lefty with sinker and decent mix. Then for reliever it’s all about Jesse Hahn. Sinker, Slurve and Slider. Nasty (for a common).

I’m not sure but can’t handle the heart break of getting walked off-on...
Going back to moments and monthly awards conquest.

I can’t believe how bad I hit against common pitchers in Moonshot. I can beat a cpu team on legend (Dodgers, Astros, and Phillies so far) on Legend, but I have a very difficult time getting one hit in Moonshot.

Just trying to get some suggestions.
i'm around 28 W's in this event so far - i had my last run be around 6-1 and do well generally here - buddy every pitcher is absolute TRASH - so your best bet is to just be a big hitter in this event - i also pitch a lot of inside and corners but you know - these pitchers are bunk garbage so just keep those expectations low in that department
you are right too mate - you can only use your best pitchers now in RS
i am 30-1 in RS, and i am going to just juggle between RS and Events until the new game comes out
have a great weekend over there

My fav way to play the CPU rosters is on Legend ss well.
But there needs to be alterations made.
Reduce the # of 99 hitters and go at the cpu with no pitcher better than their highest hitter.
That levels the playing field.
Otherwise I mollywhop the CPU rosters with my 99 bangers. -

Ya, 4 pitches but everything is hard out of the hand…if you can mix he’s plenty effective, plus it’s a stretch only operation so you’ll prolly see some random slide steps mixed in….even though I was 2/2 on his P5 prior to this event starting, it’s still one of my prouder achievements this game lolol

This Moonshot event doesn't feel like Moonshot events in past years. And the hitting feedback is a complete mess in this game. The results don't make sense much of the time based on user inputs.

I’m finding huge success with a handful of pitchers - Anderson Espinoza, Jesse Hahn, Josh Osich. Use their breaking balls to keep them off balance and you’re golden.
