Sony's New Controller
-
While not a game changer, the new DualSense Edge controller works well with this game. The analog stick sensitivity options are useful, while the optional stick replacements are a nice addition for hitting. I found the the "quick" and "precise" sensitivity options, for both analog sticks, quite useful in regards to hitting. The dead zone for the right analog stick may help some with check swinging, but prefer to have the quicker input without any dead zone area (I use Zone w/ Analog).
However, similiarily to the benefit of precision rings and custom grips, a person's "batter's eye" still matters most in this game, by far... A user's ablilty to turn on FBs in the zone, while laying off breaking balls out of the zone, still rules this game.

Thanks, I've been debating whether I want one or not, since I mostly only play this game on my PS

If only I could...sigh. I know - it takes practice. For an old dude like me, it takes more than practice.

The new PS5 controller screwed up the ligaments/tendons along both thumbs.
I sold the PS5 and went back to PS4.
Thinking of going to XBOX for 2023/24.

I get it. I just found out I have cataracts. I've had floaters for years, but this is new and I'm beginning to wonder if it's affecting my tracking the ball. Getting old sucks!

I have cataracts to. They are just not ripe enough to get removed yet with health insurance.

I love zone plus analog stride even though I can’t hit worth a [censored] .

You may want to check out the Wolverine V2 Pro for the ps5. It's shaped more like the xbox controllers with the left thumbstick up in the left corner instead of directly across from the right thumbstick. Not gonna lie, it is pricey but I had totally abandoned playing on the ps5 and only played on the xbox because of the controller until I picked that up around Christmas. Now I'm back to only playing on the ps5 and there also isn't that slight lag that some people notice while hitting with the regular ps5 controller. It has been a total game changer for me.

Duplicate Post.

My Lord.
It is beyond pricey, at $249.00 U.S.
If you get stick drift, like I have on 2 regular controllers, are there YT vids to fix it? -
Wonder if it holds a charge longer than two hours. My original and my second suck now.
