Here’s the link if anyone wants to see:
Nice job, Mike. You played well. I turned the volume off and played Kenny G in the background.

I watched the first 4 seconds and I already hate that guy. Sorry, I can’t watch any more.
EDIT: oh good lord, I switched back to that tab and the d-bag is wearing enormous purple sunglasses and yelling about his lineup. Ohhhh boy I’m done. I’m done. Good god in heaven i am done.
Most of the YT streamers seem like totally arrogant d bags. I saw one whose clickbait title was "cheeser destroyed" and he barely won.
I know it's not all of them, and perhaps they do some of that for clicks, but its one reason I am glad I don't communicate with the people I am playing online.

I don’t understand how streamers get so many views and followers. I think Kevin can be funny in small doses, but that’s about it. I used to watch McGunski in 2019 — back when he could go more than 3 words without making some sort of phallic reference. I’m fairly crass myself and it’s impossible to offend me, but even I find his commentary to be so over the top that i can no longer stomach his videos.
Here’s an interesting contrast. Just give a listen to about 30 seconds of this video from 2019: https://youtu.be/QhWHzAIR_7A He’s articulate, intelligent, helpful, and he speaks at a normal volume. I can learn a lot about the game from this version of mcgunski.
And for comparison, here is his most recent video: https://youtu.be/2UMJyeBjFig he’s shouty, whiny, and excessively vulgar. For every player, he’s got some disgusting & unimaginative nickname (i.e. Manny Machado is “Manny Man-chowder” … hah hah frickin hah).
And this is a full-time job for some of those people.

I don't watch much streaming as I would rather be playing, but because I spend a lot of time lurking on the show's reddit page they come up on my suggested a lot.
I don't remember his name, but there is a former MLB player who was streaming a couple of years ago that swears more than anyone I have ever heard before, "talks" louder than Stephen A. Smith and honestly wasn't even that good.
There was a guy I watched when my super old PlayStation died that always does the first year of RTTS streaming and he was actually speaking like a normal person, and that is what got me interested in playing for the first time in many years. I can't remember but his YT name was Tmartin something. I don't know if he plays online because I have never seen him broadcast anything.

I do watch him from time to time, and he's pretty funny. One of the few guys I've started to watch is Scann. He speaks at a reasonable volume, and has done some interesting videos... like this one for "How Trea Turner took over MLB the Show".

Interesting that you bring him up because I actually just came across one of his videos recently! It was called “How the 2021 ASG Jacob DeGrom Changed MLB:TS” or something like that. I find those kinds of videos to be much more interesting than just watching someone play. I will definitely watch the Trea Turner video — thank you for the recommendation!
EDIT: just started watching the TT video and I am shocked at how much the attributes have exploded this year. He’s showing some of the “end game”’ shortstops from MLB 20 and 21, and their attributes are all in the ballpark of 105/110 contact and 95/100 power. I’m not seeing many attributes above about 115, much less 120+ across the board like we see this year. I’m glad he’s doing videos like this, because it’s nice to remember a time when even superstar legends had (somewhat) reasonable attributes.

That’s Flank Thomas. He’s Jesse Barfields kid. He played minor league ball. He’s an arrogant pos. If you catch one of his streams question him and watch what happens. Lol. Total [censored]. I watch a few, Gunski, Dimmu Kevin and I love Digital champion. He’s loud but again honest and charismatic.

I'm pretty sure you are talking about TmarTn2. He got caught up in a scandal a few years back where he made a CS:GO "gambling" website or something. He doesn't primarily play the show, but I remember my twelve-year-old self watching his RTTS series. Pretty calm though.

That sounds about right for the name.
