I think you really just need to subscribe to some Twitter guys that tweet out when PS5s are available.
I do strongly dislike the scalpers that buy the consoles and resell for profit.

I was already a Gamestop Power Up Rewards member for years. They sent me a heads up email.
Matt Swider tweeted it as well. I suggest following him if you can. I jumped last July. I had to buy a bundle, but didn't care. -

@dbarmonstar_PSN, If you're looking for a next gen console, this is the way to go. Several Twitter channels send out notices when stock drops occur (this is how the scalpers know when to buy them). Subscribe to those feeds and be quick on your feet.

Maybe when gas drops below $4 a gallon, food prices return to normal, and the economy returns to normal.
It's pretty ignorant to rag on people right now about playing on a Ps4.
Of course it's VERY easy when Dad gives you the credit card.

You probably have purchased a ps5 worth of Starbucks coffee, door dash this month. It’s funny listening to people talk themselves out of stuff by projecting onto others.
What you said is idiotic. Spending 500 has no impact on your financial status regardless of the economy. If 500 dollars makes or breaks you I am assuming you are on disability or social security lmao. You could buy a ps5 and sell it for full value any time you wanted haha.

Hotstock app is your friend, thats how I snagged my series X, when they come into stock you get a notification pick a retailer off the list best buy, walmart etc. takes you right to the store page. Throw it in your cart if its not in there already, fill out your info and bam. I suggest it to anyone trying to snag a next gen console or graphics card.

Amazon is pretty quick and easy. Just click "the send me an invitation" button on the ps5 page that you want, and you will most likely get an invite within a week. Then you have 72 hours to purchase. I have done this 3 times in the last month but didn't buy one. Was just testing out.
Even saw one in my local Walmart a couple weeks ago in the cage and had to ask if that was available to buy or was being held for someone, and they said yep its available.

I think anyplace that has "membership" involved would be your best bet. If you have Amazon Prime, just request an invite and they will send you an email. You then have 72 hours to place your order. It surprisingly worked for me.
I clicked the request invite last night and my wife showed me the email this morning. I was only kidding when I hit place order because I thought for sure it would tell me out of stock when I did it. The order placed and I'm not upset about it..lol
