Finest Trout

Wonder how long he takes to drop off a mil. BR is an insane amount easier than RS to get the rewards so shouldn't be all that long. That said that curiosity is mostly for when Walters price will drop since l have Trout by Friday probably
Maybe a weekish, especially if he's needed for the collection but not sure

It's definitely easier as I was able to get to 100 last month...but looking at the missions, more offense based ones, this will take a while for a week hitter like myself. I'll eventually get them all but actually looking forward to that Walter Johnson card.

I went 6-4 last night (two rounds) gotta say for my first time, I was in every game. Noticed it only had 16 hours left so I hopped on a RS game and was facing Ryan and I pitched Randy. Beat the guy 4-1. Ol Foxx is quite the hitter against gas lol.

So with Trout being released, its looking more like the Real Mantle or Mays are going to be locked behind the big collection which of course pizzes me off being that I'm a Legends guy.

They could also be bosses in whatever programs are after Finest. Last year they didn't stop the innings programs (featured this year) Till January I believe so I bet there will be at least 1 more.
Personally I believe the last big collection will be a Pitcher since we haven't had one yet and my guess is Degrom. The collections were unexpectedly great so far this year.

I didn't even look at those missions yet, but 6 out of the 12 mission cards are pitchers so thats an extremely easy 24 program points

I will NOT be selling him after 147 BR entries to earn him.
only 147...not bad..lol The amount of stubs I spend on the BR Programs is insane.

Im 34th in line. Lets see how long it takes.
I was 34th too, random. So one of us is a little closer than that #

If you don’t play out of the gate, a lot of the goons are gone. I went 20-3 last BR and finished in 2 runs by waiting a bit.
Second time in a row I went 11-0 than faced a guy something like 70-2 in the flawless game ( I hung in there, but again, runner up is first loser).

See you in 23 99 Trout

For sure. I usually wait till the last week and it probably only takes 6-8 hours. Gonna grind this one out early though because I want Trout for the next event

It was easier to get stubs to get him last year. I’m a huge Angels fan and I don’t play battle royale. My biggest issue though is who else gets a finest on the Angels. Taylor Ward? Good in case the beginning, terrible in the end. Luis Regnifo finished strong, but neither of them are really deserving

I always start weak and finish strong...
However, I'm heading out of town for work for 10 days leading up to Thanksgiving, so I'm just trying to get a head start...

For some unknown reason I drafted after I finished the last program and never played a game.
So I need to figure out if I want to try a run, and by a run I mean possibly four games, with the lineup I have or redraft and get some mission players.
-
I'm so mad at myself. Figured with Finest coming out all the op cards would be easily earned through grinding. There have ot been tbe million stub cards like past years so i figured no reason to hoard stubs. So I went on a binge stocking cards for the final collection. Put my stack at 850k so I'm not getting in on trout early enough to use him

@samguenther1987 said in Finest Trout:
Yup, take my stubs lol, down to 300k. This card is insane. 110+ contact on each side and 125 power on both sides with 99 speed? Might be the best card ever.
There are several guys this year with 125's x 4. If Trout has active quirks, then it's a cinch. But this year there are WAY too many "perfect" hitters out there...

Same. I have a team from like 3 programs ago. Giving it a shot and am currently 6-0. I'm shellshocked because I suck. But let's see how this goes...

So are you playing BR now each season? I know you always hated it due to pitch speeds but am glad to see you’ve maybe changed your tune as this is far and away my favorite mode!

I hate Walter Johnson’s card. Aside from the fact that they ruin his speed differentials with double outlier (I am glad they took it off Chapman) I just can’t deal with that delivery. I would have to IBB the first batter of every inning to have him pitch from the stretch to use him. I do admit he is hard to hit when someone knows how to use him. Not that I am a great hitter to begin with.
