Do you constantly try new cards? Keep the same lineup if you’re playing well? Roll with your favorite players??

I’m having a tough time mixing up my lineup simply cause of the fact I’m playing real well with my current squad. I’ve had guys like Brian Roberts, Chipper and Oneil Cruz in my lineup for months and feel like i can’t take them out cause they are arguably my 3 best hitters. Guess you can say I’m getting slightly bored of them, guess it’s just a comfort thing.

I guess i have nothing to lose trying out new lineups since there’s so many new cards over the last few weeks, but i guess a little reassurance I’m not being stingy is what I’m looking for lol

Iv been playing all different cards until I p4 them (hitters). Then I have been using some of those parallel 4 cards in Events and my bench. Pitchers I have been just p5 them then retiring them. I have had 90 Chapman in my bullpen in Ranked even though I have 99 Chapman. He's one inning away from p5. I just like using all different cards. I sometimes find a sleeper that I hit really well with like Jim Rice I have most of the cards in the game. I lineup almost always consists of 3 righties, 3 lefties, and 2 switch hitters.

depends on the situation tbh, mostly I'm trying out new favorites / or P5ing my established favorites. once they are p5 they rarely see action unless I'm in a promotion game like if I'm 785 or 885 in ranked

My Line-up for RS 1 thru 8 is all switch hitters only.
    1 (Finest) B. Roberts 2B
2 (FOTF) R. Durham CF (secondary)
    3 (Finest) F. Lindor SS
    4 (Awards) C. Jones 3B
    5 (FOTF) J. Posada C
    6 (Finest) S. Victorino RF
7 (Topps Now) L. Rengifo LF (secondary)
    8 (2nd Half) E. Murray 1B ..... or ..... (HRD) N. Swisher 1B (secondary)

This ensures me always a righty-lefty / lefty-righty matchup and takes away those pitches sailing out & away from me that are easily chased & missed. (Sliders, Cutters, Slurves, Sweeping Curves, Ect.)

I do the same I got 5 switch hitters and the other 3 are left handed hitters. If I see a lefty I’ll swap 2 of them out and keep Griffey at CF cause of his speed and defense.

I like trying new cards just to see how I do with them but I always go back to players I know I do well with if I start slumping. I like having 2 lefty hitters and a couple switch hitters in my lineup. I've noticed more left heavy lineups so I usually have 2 lefty starters and 3 relievers

i leave in the ones i know I do well with until P5, and then try cards out until I like one over the others. Right now I like my lineup but I think that Mickey Mantle will be on the field soon and maybe placing Cano at 2B when I p5 jackie

This time of year, I’m all about team builds only. I have an AL squad and an NL squad and I run a team until I get a win. Some all time teams end up with very weak bullpens so I supplement there with a few staple cards. Grip N Rip

If I'm really trying to win, I have a switch-hitting lineup that's a little easier for me to hit with online. Otherwise, I play with cards to get me mission points in programs. Since I don't make WS level, I can at least get to 250 innings for one of the "big" cards per program, and knock out missions as well.

P.S. Just like in past years, 98 Mondesi is simply the best all-around card IMHO. And, he's "free" in RS by either playing 125 innings or getting to a 500 ranking. Or, just buy him (I think he's pretty cheap). But man... I love that card. Where's @Ikasnu_MLBTS or @Ikasnu_PSN when I need him?
