I think it’s sad that a third place team with a win percentage just over .500 might win the WS.
Edit: Though I can’t really get behind a team that got to a WS twice by cheating. (I don’t mean this year)

I mean, if the Phillies played in the AL or NL Central they are probably a first place team though. I understand why people don't like the new playoff format, but similar to the NFL some divisions as a whole are just so bad that otherwise deserving teams get screwed out of a playoff spot.

I do mean 2019. I mean, allegedly, 2019 as well. There is evidence. But, they were the best team in the AL and the Playoffs this year, that I cannot argue!

12 games over .500 isnt just over.the mets are the reason they werent a 90 win team, they won the season series against the cardinals,brewers,padres,dodgers, the only 2 top teams they didnt were the mets and braves(and 8-11 against braves which is even matched counting luck)
