Do you guys play most of your franchise games?

I’m doing a Jays season and finding the sim results ridiculous.

With the same jays lineup and significantly improved pitching, they are still sub .500 coming up to the break.

Is this to be expected with this mode?

It’s best to get the hitters hot and pitchers with their confidence up as it carries over into their next start, play 2 or 3 games a game week have some big games and sims will go easier

Good advice. Yeah over the course of the season it kind of leveled out.

Now my #5 starter has really developed and the rotation is looking good.

The pitchers confidence I have found through my experience makes a huge difference in sim results. So if you ever notice a slump starting jump in and play 5 games, get their confidence up as high as possible and then sim again.

Also good advice. I traded for Aaron Ashby to be the #5 starter. I don’t like simming his starts because, for whatever reason, he always loses. Now, I generally play his starts, and he does well.

The game still has an inning or two every time where the cpu will have amazing takes and my perfect releases just miss. After a walk, there will be a stolen base or a passed ball and the tying run will be at the plate.

I kinda wish this stuff was not programmed into the game but, what to do!
