Robbing Home Runs is Impossible
-
I've had one robbed since release, which seems fair. And that was yesterday.

I rob 4-5 a year. Takes alot of luck. I see people try all the time but they really don’t have the technique
B.S.
Nope have two already

This year, I’ve robbed one with Granderson and one with Juan Soto. It’s the best feeling in the world when it happens, but it is tough. The hardest part is timing. Get there too quickly, and you have no momentum. Get there too late, and it’s already gone.
-
If robbing homeruns is impossible, how did your opponent do it?

Exactly. People run up to the bullseye and wait. You have to slowly make your way to it and time it so you get there when its just the red dot and jump. Lots of luck involved at that point

Happened against me Atleast once last night

I don't mind the way robbing homers plays out for the most part, as that's a lot of luck. I just get annoyed when it's a ball hit that's going to be just over the wall and your player has time to get to the wall and wait for it come down. Then you hit jump and and he just kind of jumps like a moron with no semblance of actually trying to make a play on the ball.
-
Robbed one with Judge and Acuna, it definitely feels as hard as it's ever been this year though.

Maybe the use of the word impossible here is akin to the second definition of the word literally when you google it.
-
I had never done it before in any years past. But I’ve done it twice somehow this year

I did a jump with Gallo where he laid flat. But I robbed the HR over the wall in Center
-
It’s happening more frequently this year than ever. And certainly not impossible as I’ve already robbed 3 since the game came out.
-
CPU has robbed me a lot, more so last year, but a few times this year.
I haven't come close. -
I was a hr robbing machine with gwynn in center last year moved him to right same outcome cant rob a hr for the life of me this year
-
It’s tough irl, and it’s tough in the game.
Just because you have Mantle, doesn’t mean you can rob a homerun. If you suck you still suck lmao. (Not saying you suck in particular, just as a general rule)

My characters don't even jump at the wall. No matter what setting I have, no matter what button I use, no matter what direction I point the stick, they dive
You just press R1

You sure about that? You aren’t pressing R2 right?
