His ears were glistening big time. But the Mets had 1 hit total and gave up 6 runs. They got whooped.

pretty good? mate he made baseball history last night with his performance 7IP 2 hits - i forget the exact stat quote but we should see a nasty post season card with him plus that nice finger flick to punk the mets off

I didn't watch the game but as soon as I heard what Showalter did I chalked it up to mind games. The type of stuff Billy Martin would have done.

Agreed. I'm no Padres fan but that type of stuff only makes the manager look bad. And Showalter did.
