Who's Your Single Season HR King?

I read that the Maris family acknowledged Judge as the "true" single season HR champ.
So who do you prefer?
Now before the Debbie Downers point it out, it's obviously Gigantic Head in the books.
But do you tell your kids the story of how Bonds juiced, practically doubled his muscle mass, somehow went up a few shoe sizes, and ended up with a Pumpkin Head?
I'm with the Maris'. In the Court of Public Opinion, it's going to be Judge.
If anyone can justify that scumbag and the rest of his roid boys as legit, I would love to hear it. -
I acknowledge that Bonds hit the most. I don’t celebrate or talk about it. Honestly, I don’t think most fans really care about that record anymore. It’s forever tainted. It’s not like it was when I was growing up and every summer we were watching guys like Griffey and how many they hit before the AS break, wondering if they could do it.
I think if they took a poll to see who actually cares about Judge hitting 62, the vast majority would be Yankee fans.

Barry Bonds has the most home runs, period. He was obviously aided but we have no idea how many pitchers he faced that were juicing as well and on top of that the whole holier than thou attitude the league has now is hard to take seriously considering they loved the ratings when those guys were blasting Home Runs. You can’t bring up Bonds/Sosa/McGwire without mentioning the steroids tho.

No, no one said he's a good home run king, but in your example he still is her husband, being bad or good doesn't matter in that context.
Bonds juiced when they didn't test for steroids. If we knew the extent a lot of our beloved players went to in order to produce, I think we would be shocked. I mean Babe Ruth injected sheep balls so like...

So why don't you say the same about David Ortiz going from the Twins to the Red Sox? He got huge just like Bonds did, but he gets a free pass. Why?
He got huge, I agree, but not in the way Bonds did. I am curious, and no I am not too young, it just didn’t interest me after the Big Mac and Sosa thing; how many did Bonds hit? 80?

I heard a rumor that while chasing Maris; Judge said that Bonds was the true homerun king and Maris was just an afterthought. Now don't know if it's true; but if it is true that's being cocky.Reason 2. Give it a few years and we'll find out that Judge was juicing.

Why wouldn’t Bonds just take Greenies. Nothing like loading up on those to help with power right? Like I said, Bonds would have been great without them, so would guys like ARod, it’s actually sad what they did to themselves. I don’t deny that Big Mac, Sosa, and Bonds helped bring fans to baseball that they wouldn’t have. That’s why they looked the other way while it was happening at least.

During my time playing i saw everything and anything to try and gain an edge. Hitting a baseball takes talent and Bonds had the talent. Regardless of roids or no roids plenty of people tried and failed with roids.

Literally no one has said he was clean or anything to defend the guy. The reason Bonds gets brought up the most is because he has the record, if Ortiz had the record you would hear a lot more about that failed test
