Please add an option as to whether or not you want to play in a creates stadium online.

Or get rid of it for online play altogether.

This is the ONLY thing keeping me from buying a PS5.

Totally your call, but I think that's a pretty ridiculous reason to not get a next gen console. I've had PS5 and Series S/X since launch, and I very rarely end up in created stadiums. Maybe one out of every 50+ games. Of the games I do end up playing in a created stadium, most are fine.

There are plenty of issues found in every version of the game that should be a bigger concern to you than dinosaurs beyond the outfield fences, or max elevation.

Also, you could buy a PS5 console and just run the PS4 version on it. The game would still look and run better than it would on a standard PS4 (assuming you don't have a Pro) and you wouldn't have the create a stadium functionality.

    Makes sense.

You will always the players with the cheesy blackout stadiums or hard to see batters eye but really those are few and far between. I like the variety of playing in different stadiums. Some people try to replicate old stadiums or minor league parks that are not in the game. There really are some cool ones that you can tell people spent hours on.

The only thing keeping me from getting a PS5 is that I still can't find one anywhere. When is the supply chain supposed to fix itself?

To borrow a quote from " someone else"
The supply chain is working as intended.

Created stadiums is a fantastic addition to the game. I enjoyed creating my "Ebbets Field" the last couple of years. It is pretty simple, but clean and playable.

However, there are some knuckle-draggers out there who would rather exploit the game than attempt to build a good playable stadium. Hopefully SDS can discourage these types of designs in the future, starting with removing things like dinosaurs, astroids, stargates, etc.

I actually got an email from Playstation yesterday or the day before asking if I wanted a chance to buy another one. I got mine directly from Playstation at launch and it was actually a really smooth process. You could try seeing if it is possible to sign up for alerts through them.

You'll have to pry that Stargate from my cold, dead hands. They need to add the ability for "fans" to dial into the gate, show the event horizon whoosh, and then have fans passing through to get to the game.

The problem with created stadiums isn't the batters eye mostly. It's the altitude. High altitude stadiums with short fences are garbage, and thats at least half of the created stadiums I play at. I can count on one hand how many legit created stadiums I've played at. Most of the ones trying to replicate old stadiums etc. are still at max altitude

But altitude benefits both teams. It's not like the home teams has the advantage. Same way with the dimensions, it benefits both teams. Now if you run a team of Ozzie Smiths, yeah you are going to lose but there really is no advantage one way or the other unless you are really worried about your pitchers ERA.

I don't care if it benefits both teams. The game plays weird in high altitude and it's not a fun time whatsoever. If you want to play 16-15 games with pop out homeruns more power to you but that's not baseball
