How '23 will handle Ohtani

Am I the only one that thinks it's really dumb that Shohei Ohtani is only a pitcher card and you cannot use him as a hitter unless you have him pitching? Everytime I want to use Ohtani as a hitter I have to go use Topps Now Ohtani, that is below average.
I hope that MLB 23 will have Ohtani as kind of a way that fantasy baseball does where you can use him as either a pitcher or hitter. -

Honestly it should not be a huge issue. Basically all they need to do is to take restrictions off of who plays where. I should b eable to put a pitcher in the field for defense. Obviously they are going to stink but I should be able to do it. I should also be able to use a pitcher as a pinch runner and not have to have them face 3 batters the next inning. So they take off restrictions on pitchers than everything works out. Maybe if they put in the DH that would help, but it sounded like they would never add the DH to DD.

I actually feel like they will add DH to DD, as they usually adapt to MLB rules (hence extra inning runner at 2nd). This was the first year without pitchers hitting so let's give them a shot. With that I feel they will have DH designations

Nothing will get solved. They didn't really improve anything 2 years ago because...xbox! This year, nothing much because...Nintendo! Next year? Probably nothing much because...fill in the blank???
Maybe they'll "fix" coop and celebrate that as a huge leap forward while STILL not doing [censored] for franchise, claiming they're "working under the hood on logic" or somesuch absolute [censored]. In the meantime, we'll be able to snag superstars in trades that include 27 year old D potential minor leaguers.

Oh 100% chance that that will not get fixed. Play DD for what it is. Casual gacha game with some elements that are skill based
