I was wondering what the difference was…..I can’t say I’m really excited about this….I mean, integrating some flashback cards is cool, but same series, same players, just a stat bump in the same years game……really seems wasted

This is clearly something that is MLB related so might be part of the overall deal.for the license
There is only 4 players in HRDX so no other options for different players and doesn't really deviated from other players that get a 95 then a 99 later on so it's in line with how the game works

It's an MLB sponsored event with only those 4 players. What else is SDS supposed to do? This game is probably MLB's main form of advertisement for the event

Has anything been announced about what the new event will be today. It wouldn't surprise me to see another moonshot with this pack scattered through the reward path.

Ohhhhhhhhh, I have totally whiffed on it being an actual real life event…….I thought original HRD release was just a throwback to add extra cards……in that case, I STAND BY MY PREVIOUS STATEMENTS IN THE FACE OF YOUR EVIDENCE BECAUSE IF I STOP YELLING THAT MEANS I LOSE!!!

I wonder if we'll be able to get these cards via the same methods... now that I'm on PS5 I'm soley focused on this account for now... I think last go round I did manage to earn 2 of the cards but I did get atleast one of these cards for various accounts and made it a point to pick different cards each time and yeah Nick Swisher atleast to me was the best of the 95 Overalls.
I imagine when they have the third event we'll get these four players again at 99 overall.
I would also love to see Home Run Derby X in MLB The Show 23 as it's own standalone game mode and would love to see Home Derby and X both added as playable modes within Diamond Dynasty.

The were a free pack that included all 4 that was available for a limited time I beleive the cards are on the marketplace
