    What a run he's on right now, hit in the head in the 6th with a 99 mph fastball, comes back in the 8th and hits a go ahead 2 run homer. He's making a real case for player of the month for September.

    That was a trophy in the game a few years ago. -hit a homer in the next at bat after getting plunked.

    Still half a month to go and if SDS has proven anything this year it is that the best player every month does not guarantee a lightning card. Nate Lowe led the league in Avg in Aug and only was given a Topps Now card. Arenado has won POTM from MLB twice and did not get the lightning.

    I've taken a hope for the best but expect the worst attitude towards POTM cards.

    Bo Bichette in 11 games this September for the
    @BlueJays
    :

    24 hits
    21 RBI
    15 runs
    7 home runs
    6 doubles

    Since RBI became an official stat in 1920, the only other MLB player to reach all of those numbers over an 11-game span was Lou Gehrig in June 1930.

    And that Supercharged LS Bo was freaking amazing!

    I'm impatient. Give me a September MA Bo. Don't feel like waiting for Finest.

    SDS should just announce him as POTM right now. He could go 0 for the rest of the month and still be POTM.
