It seems certain cards are going to perform regardless of who is controlling them. This Event has shown me guys like Austin Riley and Mookie will smack no matter what. It's as if these cards are programmed to hit .450

So...using end-game cards increases the likelihood of good results?

    Yes. And?

Might want to consider that post-Madden, lots of meh-players are gone, and the average skill level of remaining players is much higher.

Can confirm Austin Riley is not programmed to hit .450 lol.

The guy was hitting .175 with 99 Big Papi and .115 with 99 Chipper.

    Meanwhile Mookie .656 with 5 bombs in 9 AB's.

Maybe he had lower averages with those guys from playing on HOF in ranked and he used Mookie in events. I definitely have guys who I hit 175 with on HOF, meanwhile I hit 500 with Ian Happ from using him in events only. I also put my lowest average guys in my event lineups to try to get their averages up to respectability. I think that’s probably what you’re seeing

There's always the exception, but you won't convince me Austin Riley isn't programmed to perform better. He comes through so often it's obvious.

Ok. Literally everyone I’ve given 100 at bats to in LF or 3rd base has out performed Austin Riley for me. That’s anecdotal evidence I know, but so is what you’re providing.

I do think it would be cool if there was somewhere we could see “community stats” with the cards. Would be helpful if they could be seen from the player card screen. It would definitely be something I checked when deciding which cards to try/buy

Would be humorous in Larkin rips or Steve Finley has the best swing conversations to bring up,” well the community has a .650 ops with him.”

Maybe you need to play the guy that posted about being better with the AS mookie card and was trash with the 99…..

Find yourself a better class of losers sir!

9 AB's tells you he's on a hot streak with a guy, that's all. He might go 0-9 in his next 9 AB's. Basic statistical analysis, c'mon man.

I'm just in a chitty mood this morning. I need to stop jumping online first thing in the morning.

Maybe it's because I'm an old man but I don't remember getting this angry playing video games 20 years ago.

The last time I played a video game before I played the Show a few years ago, you weren’t able to play other players unless they were on your console. Was it like that 20 years ago?
