My bet is in a retro finest pitcher.
Seaver with outlier? Or Gibson with outlier?
What about Maddux with outlier? Or Hershiser with outlier?
Nah they never threw hard just had a lot of movement.
I know, I was just making over emphasized joke about the amount of pitcher’s with outlier. Pedro got it, he didn’t throw hard enough to get it. Maddux and Hersh were masters of their craft; they used good pitch mixes, great movement, and command of the zone.

Agreed but it’s a shame their supreme ability doesn’t translate into the game.
I always pitched well with Maddux. Then, after pitching with him for a couple times through the lineup, bring in a reliever that throws heat. 102mph will feel like 110.
I got his Takashi card to p5 and enjoyed pitching with him sm

That's exactly what they did for every big collection last year I believe. Mariano was TA 2, Mookie was TA3, Kershaw was TA 4 and Griffey was TA5.
Those were all obtainable for free with no time limit. Though I’m not saying they will not release it on the same day, I just wouldn’t use last year’s TA as examples for reasons why.
True but you have to admit, the 30 card featured programs are clearly modeled after TA. They are almost identical-
- FOTF/TA1 88s (basically the same thing)
- Future Stars/TA2 (which had a bunch of Future Stars)
- All Stars/TA 3 (All stars)
- Legends / TA4 (legends)
And I'm gonna guess the last 30 card program this year will be Finest just like TA5.
So while these are timed and you don't get all the cards free, otherwise they're the same thing.
And so far I believe Brett and Cutch were released when the 30 card programs were released. I am positive the new collection will be released in concert with the legends program.
I was agreeing with you that it’s coming then, my point was these programs don’t allow us to get every card; TA did. Also, if you cannot finish the program in time, you are going to need to spend a lot of stubs. Yes, I know that’s not a problem for you.
-
I'm hoping for a super juiced Future Stars card. They've gone way too lite on those this year. I d prefer someone from Single A too!

Yeah, I do miss the old format of TA. Do you think they'll bring it back next year?
It's only not a problem for me because I have a boring office job that allows me to screw around on the app in between tasks. But I imagine that'll get old eventually.

@SaveFarris_PSN can you confirm this?
Did someone send up the bat signal?
Rivera Collection released on 5/28, same day as TA2.
Betts Collection released on 8/1, 2 days after 5th program and in between TA3 and TA4.
Kershaw Collection released on 9/10, same day as TA4.
Griffey Collection released on 11/19, same day as TA5. -
My prediction: Retro Finest Halladay.
-
My guess would be Judge, Pujols, Ohtani, Ichiro, Maris, or Walter Johnson. Long shot Jeter

I used to spend so much time flipping. I bought many million stub cards last year. I still have millions. Not so much this year. Trying to keep up playing. I want to get that Mookie, but I am still behind on the TN moments.

Can someone tell me what the app is you use for flipping

Some people use showzone but a lot just use the app and read the margins

Ichiro and Maris are not in the game this year along with Jeter. It's been said many times but SDS is smart enough to know that if they get Jeter in the game he will likely be used from the getgo to market the game to increase sales. If they don't go that route then they might need to look into replacing their sales/marketing team.

It really is a shame. Outlier is one of the great equalizers in this game that bridges the gap between skill level. Creating a pitch that allows people to just spam it and have success is much easier for players.
SDS could properly develop gameplay that works for all pitchers and a craftsman like Maddux could be just as effective as Edward Cabrera, Randy or Nolan, but that would take a higher level of skill than spamming outliers. Good players can be effective with almost any pitcher, but I don’t know anyone who isn’t going to gravitate to a good pitch mix with outlier.

I've seen this post a couple times, but I wanna see who ya'll think it is gonna be, I'm thinking it's gotta be a pitcher cause they've done infield and outfield alr
I could be wrong but I think it will just be an announcement for the next big collection.
Can't see them dropping a big collection the same time they drop a new program that should have '30' bosses which will probably be part of said collection.
That would make those cards EXTREMELY expensive.

I definitely think we'll be getting the collection next week. My prediction is a pitcher. I'm gonna say either Goose Gossage, Justin Verlander or Degrom.
@the_dragon1912 , curious who you think since you're the champion at this.
Dibble, Kluber or Hershiser.

This.
I CAN pitch decently with some non-outlier pitchers, but I get BETTER results from outlier pitchers. So why wouldn't I gravitate to them. There's no incentive to do so, except pride I guess.
-
Its gonna be Halladay imo
-
I think it's either retro finest Reggie Jackson, or retro finest Jimmie Foxx. Will see if either of them are the Athletics player of the franchise. But i think one of them will be the big collection. We also have yet to see a 99 overall Hank Aaron so you have to think thats coming as well.
-
I’m still about 180k away from doing Cutch.
Don’t know how some of you can do it so fast!
