I think we see another patch around the 13th of this month when this current season ends. Ok, I’m praying we see a patch. I know they see the complaints, so my thought process is they were going to run it out through this “season” and throw something else out when the new one starts up.

Nah, they could release a patch to stop people hitting the ball well within days. The fact that they’re not bothering to do anything suggests they like it this way. As long as they’ve got “top players” down to about .320 the rest of us can [censored] off and hit .180 for the rest of the year.

I am not a top player and I am hitting .295, era of 2.25 and fielding percentage of .997. I am not seeing or experiencing these issues everyone is talking about, maybe I am playing a different game?

I don't know in what division you play or what the difficulty is that your games are being played on (based on you yourself saying that you're not a top player)? But I'm just saying that I personally always bat somewhere around .300 - .350 but that's on HOF and Legend exclusively. If I would play all my games on All-Star I would probably be batting above .400 easily.

Just trying to point out that batting averages on their own don't mean so much; they need context.

I understand that, right now Im in all star, i haven't had the time to play as much since my kids are always home right now. That being said, if hitting is broken, it should be broken across the board not just in HOF divisions, same goes with fielding and pitching. I haven't thrown a perfect release hanger since the latest patch, that may also be because I went through trial and error to figure out how to avoid it. I don't overthrow every pitch and I don't throw perfect release hangers, I don't quick pitch every opportunity I get and I don't throw hangers.

To me all star is a joke it’s way way too easy to hit . Every game I played there was a high scoring affair . HOF and legend the games plays much better , still have my share of high scoring games . People will hate me for it but I think the hitting is fine , the pitching is kinda suspect with all the hangers . Fielding could use some improvement , but I think they have improved the locking on since release .

@raesone You’re good enough to hang with top players though, I know you’re decent. What’s your honest opinion on the state of online play? Mostly hitting and pitching, because we all know about fielding now.

I haven't thrown a perfect release hanger since the latest patch, and I agree all star is terrible, if I had more time to play I wouldn't be stuck there. I am also hitting well in the HOF event, I guess it's just me but I am not having all these issues others seem to be having.

I agree . The only thing that needs some tuning is the fielding . I think many complain bc most are on all star, and I’d complain to bc it’s almost unplayable against somebody u can hit . I can’t stress enough how much better the game is on HOF

I used to hate all star last year and preferred HoF, which the majority of my games were played on. This year I can’t see how you’re supposed to hit the ball on HoF, I can only be too early or too late and on the odd occasion I time a swing up and have the ball entirely within the PCI, I get good/okay feedback consistently.

I'm not really enjoying it as much at this point. Pitching is still terrible. Hitting is okay, could be better. My biggest issue is that one game I'm in front of everything and the next one it feels as if I'm swinging an axe under water. No idea how that happens, but it's there.

I know what you mean, the inconsistency is definitely a huge problem. Makes me want to give up altogether.

Fix the “good-okay” [censored] that seems to be game scripting so you don’t get good hits when you square it up. Make more homers on “good” swing time and less on “early”. Fix the fielding, players still get locked into fly balls when they aren’t under them. Than the game will be fine. Pitch speeds, pitching, PCI, are all fine.

^im hoping those changes will fix the inconsistency. I feel like a lot of that stems from getting just “okay” contact when your PCI is right on it.

Pitching is still very inconsistent at times. I have managed to find a way to over come it for the most part but there’s still people out there that destroy anything in the zone that hangs. Pitch speed on off speed needs to be sped up fastballs are fine how they are sinkers high in the zone need to be decreased. Hitting is only inconsistent with input. Sometimes it feels like the PCI is moving randomly and I haven’t hit a Perfect Perfect outside of a high fastball in the zone in a week. The new hitting system is flawed and I honestly don’t like it. There’s too many chopped hits and pop ups and warning track fly outs on good animation swings.
