What card or cards are you looking to pick up next?

I may be in the minority buy I'm excited for the Signature Jason Giambi.

And of course Wagner and Gehrig are at the top of my list.

My "shopping list" is pretty much Wagner and Cueto(I'm going to choose walker in the program). However since this post is meant for players that don'y already have everything I am interested to try Gehrig, Giambi, Walker, Hamels, and Cano/Donaldson(I still haven't beaten showdowm extreme)

I've been picking up cards as I need them. When we get a mission, and I don't have the cards (or enough of them) to get the mission done sooner than not, then I'll go shopping. I decided not to buy anything above bronze for collections this year...thus, I'm still waiting to get Randy. I have two cards left (Trout and deGrom) until I get the Big Unit.

I just got Randy, but everything I have been wanting so far is collection-locked, like Cutch.

Retro Finest Cueto and Andrus are my next dudes to get. I try to collect just about anyone who ever wore a White Sox jersey at any point in their career. I always like using Honus, but I assume he'll get a 99 so I don't feel the need to drop the fish on his Takashi card.

I only need Scherzer to finish the LS. I've got the stubs but I pretty much completely lost interest in the LS after finishing the AL and getting Frank. I know if I keep playing until January or February like I usually do that I'll eventually pull him and/or his price will drop significantly.

McCutchen is my sole focus right now. I’ve never finished any big collections. Not even a live series collection. Never really tried, but for some reason this has become my goal. And to make matters worse, in my mind, flipping is cheating to get this done lol. It’s been a grind doing stuff I don’t really enjoy like conquests and mini seasons. I better not hit 220 with this card when I get it lol

Just got Wagner yesterday (he throws gas), i'm missing 11 cards so at the top of my list right now is

    Larry Walker (Prime)
    Lou Gehrig (Prime)
    Cole Hamels (Finest)
    Ernie Banks (Prime)
    Jason Giambi (Sig)
    That would leave me needing

    Johnny Bench (Milestone)
    Cal Ripken Jr (Finest)
    Yu Darvish (97)
    Shane Victorino (Finest)
    Johnny Cueto (Finest)
    Willie Mays (99)

Last night I was between Nolan and Willie Mays but ended up copping Willie to try him out, he may stay or I might resell to buy Nolan

I am doing what I did last year just latter in the year, just buying the cheapest cards that I do not have, It has been working out pretty well. Nolan Ryan is at that top of the list and can not wait to get Donaldson, I am working on getting the AS Program done and finishing some the collections I need for Clutch. Between the AS players I need and a few more Future Stars that is what is on my list to do.

I wasn’t crazy about the Willie card but Ryan is always a monster.

Been rolling with HRD JRod in left but he was stinking up the joint, so I replaced him w/ HRD Soto. 2-4 w/ a 2B in his first game. If that production doesn’t hold, I’ll probably replace him w/ Mays.

Rotation is UNIT, Ryan, Wood, Pedro, … & Manoah. He’s obviously the 5th wheel, but Hamels has always been difficult to locate for me and there are better options to be had (Leiter, Mussina, Cueto).

Bigger question is whether POTM Bregman will be good enough to shift Brett back to 1B (Riley wasn’t).

This is not a “stub flex” as no doubt some have more but I’m maxed out with duplicates in the coffer so no card is really missing. But what I want personally is a 99 Trea Turner as that card was insane last year and I need that back in my life 🤣

I’ve used the Mays ‘63 all star card and got him to P5. It’s been great value. I can’t justify paying so much more for what seems like his SB rating.

As far as Ryan goes, not sure what my deal is but for my play style he was a disappointment. Seemed like way to much pitch to contact without seeing dominating K totals. The Wood finest is more in line with what I thought I’d be getting with Ryan. Always dominating in the K total with the occasional solo shot but never anything fatal. Just my observations.

I'd love to rebuy the Milestone Ryan; but I refuse to spend 200K on a card that I'll only use once every few games.

I am a few big name, big price LS cards from making that collection. I can’t spend so many stubs on cards that I will not even use.

Willie has been a beast in my AS league. I’ve had Ryan almost since he came out
