Timing windows today

Yes I’ve noticed it for the last few days honestly. Game is very inconsistent with timing windows and pitch speeds. Between that and the RNG, it’s getting too stressful to play online

I have a beef with late side of good too, get that bar off the center of the green area… good is good, period.

Yeah, the ones where you feel like you are right on it and registers as late for a weak out are frustrating.
On the swing feedback it’s shows you in the green window too on the ones Im speaking of.

I remember there were times where the timing would say "good" but then it would say "early" or "late". Plus I still can never get the swing timing right most of the time.

I am a first year player. I have had more "late" and "very late" This weekend than I did the first 3 days the game was out when I REALLY sucked.

I was late all day yesterday, but I thought it was because mini seasons messed my timing up.

Edit: I play mini seasons on HOF/Legend and was late on All Star speeds online, something was really off.

I couldn't time anything up last night on All Star, log on this morning and my first 4 swings are all good contact and hits, seems very inconsistent.

I haven’t felt the timing windows much different, but I’ve been on the bad side of RNG a lot the past few days.

I have not been able to time anything in the event all weekend on All-star. Went 30-9 in the last event but am 11-11 in this event because keep getting "late, very late or to late" with almost every swing. Something has changed with timing since the last update.

Can’t say for sure on timing windows but in my game just now the frame rate would drop significantly when I was hitting. It wasn’t all of the time, but was about 70% of the at bats. I didn’t notice it when pitching. It was similar to how field of dreams looked on could. Alls before the patch…this was during the pitchers delivery though. Anyone seen this?

If it was LS Spencer Strider pitching you his delivery is kinda broken, the ball seems to glitch out of his hand.

No, I was facing Eury Perez. First time I have faced him and I know he throws gas, but this was definitely a frame rate thing.

I'm a [censored] player but usually I make contact... just struck out 15 times vs. Rodon online. Literally was super late on everything was stupid. The amount of people commenting on this thread it's clearly not just me.
Won 2-1 on a contact HR.

It has been tough for me lately and IDK if it’s a skill issue or connectivity issue

I use Buttons to hit cause I suck at zone. I noticed I get alot of missed swings at the ball even though when I look at the bat it’s BARELY off from being a perfect hit. I can understand if it happens every now and then but it happens quite often and I be frustrated cause if I make an almost perfect swing then atleast make contact with the ball and don’t. Don’t just miss it completely

I think that is what you get when using “timing”. I have tried it a time or two and it just seems like a complete dice roll. Zone is a dice roll to a degree as well, but not near like timing. My experience has been that zone is much better if you can get the PCI anywhere near the ball. May not be the best contact with bad PCI placement, but contact will happen more frequently than with “timing”.

When you say, “I make an almost perfect swing,” do you mean the game makes an almost perfect swing for you? But doesn’t reward itself? I’ve heard it all

Meaning the bar is almost center perfect to being a perfect hit. I don’t mind it being a foul ball, ground ball, etc but the amount of complete misses I get on those can be frustrating like I don’t even make contact with the ball at all but yet I get home runs on BS swings that be outside way outside the zone.
Just the other day I was having my usual low scoring game in RS even though I hit some hits that I thought should atleast make contact with the ball either I was barely early or slightly late and no I was just whiffing at the ball but yet I get a HR in 7th inning off a slider that was 2 feet outside the strike zone on s very late swing for my only run of the game.

Oh I know it’s the reason and I understand that but the amount of times it happens can be frustrating in H2H atleast make me make contact with the ball rather it be a foul ball or grounder etc and not just be a complete miss more times than not.
