What's up with the Old School Showdown?
-
I took a shot at the old school showdown this morning and lost. That is fine because I played very poorly. I am not complaining about difficulty, perfect outs or diving fielders.
But i am curious about one thing. Why was I getting common and bronze choices in my diamond rounds?
For my initial pick I was offered the choice between 3 diamonds and a Common (56 overall)
And then I think two other times that I earned diamond batters it presented me with a mix of rarities including one round when 99 Eric Davis was the only diamond offered of the four choices.
Again, I probably would have lost anyway. I played poorly and deserved to lose so I am not complaining. No amount of diamonds was going to help. I just found it strange.

It’s because the cards offered in the choices are summer program cards , and they didn’t release enough cards to give you a diamond option every time.

I've lost like 30 times, it's stupid. 3 outs to get 2 hits and they got the pitching and fielding on legend. So dumb.

They they should supplement it with live series diamonds not commons and bronzes.

I am in the same boat, I had to try this a dozen or so times already. I have been playing a bunch of games for Extreme hoping to the go back to this showdown thinking it's easy.
