Worth Buying Diamond Equipment?

Is it worth it to buy diamond equipment? Maybe you need a couple more to get to complete those collections and get the rewards, but is it worth the thousands and thousands of stubs for it? Even compared to gold, the prices don't compare. Are they worth the cost on certain equipment collections as well?
On a random note how's the economy in this game if some wrist guard costs more than a few diamond players?

They aren't worth it to complete collections unless that's your thing. However, they are great for flipping for max stubs per flip if you are patient and you know their peaks and valleys.

Depends on what your objectives are, your current inventory, stub count, how much RTTS/CAP you play/use, etc.

In 21 I could buy a majority of the diamond perks for about 2K stubs.. I’ve seen some up around 15 K in 22… no thanks…I’ll just put in the work to get them..

That’s because in 21, there were a million Diamond Ballplayer packs in the program reward paths.
22, not so much.
