    1. Anyone complaining about Extreme Conquest is either absolutely horrible at the game or just like complaining.
    2. The moments were actually perfect for me. They were not at all easy, but they were not impossible. And I felt like I accomplished something after completing my last one (Delgado because I'm terrible with his swing).
    3. Showdown is definitely the hardest part. I tried various strategies, but never even made it to Nolan/Randy.

But you don't really even need Showdown. I'm at 88 pts anyway. Will get Cano in the next couple days, and then Donaldson I'll get eventually just grinding PxP.

    I LOVED this program!

the word EXTREME should be no where near conquest in this program. The turn based goals are a joke, a monkey can beat this map......It should be called "kind of time consuming" conquest..... The USA map would be more extreme due to more games and sims.....

I agree with all of you. When I posted last night, it was because I was just tired of grinding. I sucked it up for another hour and finished.

The hardest part of the whole thing was showdown. And I 100%? Got lucky. But I did it.

Conquest wasnt any tougher than some non extreme conquest we have had in the past and the Moments were definitely not extreme either. Ill give it to Showdown though, mainly because every battle is win or done.

Is that a lot of you don’t like a challenge.

Turn based conquest missions? Too hard.

Need to steal fans and play an extra game? Too much extra time.

Moments above rookie difficulty? Oh boy, I may need to try.

Showdown? Don’t like losing won’t even try it.

You guys all want great cards just dropped into your lap, but don’t want to do anything to get them.

Showdown is hard. Moments are medium. Conquest is easy. I have almost beaten Showdown twice and I am not very good at the game. I CAN eventually beat it. My #1 gripe has to be those first 2 missions that can take some time to get through. I would rather one more score 1 of HOF exist in place of those 2 for time sake.

I will say this again. On my second run at Showdown I had Randy 25-25 with the bases loaded and 11 outs. I could not get one run across. Nothing about scoring that last run feld moderately hard, I was just praying for good results that never happened.

He gained control as far as throwing strikes as his energy dropped. His confidence also recovered quickly on K's for some dumb reason. I think what SDS did for extreme was fair, but it is VERY hard for a lot of folks.

Man, at that point I probably would have taken many hands off the controller and try to let him walk 1 of the 11 guys! That would definitely cause me some extreme emotions

I can only recall 1 showdown where I tied it up and then couldn’t get a hit after and that was a normal version…..don’t know if I could revisit after an episode like that.

    Conquest was time consuming.
    Moments took me some time.
I haven't completed Showdown. I think its luck of the draft and so far the players that pop up doesn't give me much of a choice. I would have loved to be able to use my DD guys against Showdown but that's not how it rolls.

Oh and Wyatt....I must be a monkey LMAO

Showdown realistically wAs the only hard part, and it took me two tries. Soriano 2 run double off Nolan and Alonso doubling after that to win the challenge but all others I breezed through even Randy since you’re down only 4. Like you said I thought moments were fine, way better than previous years of get 3 home runs with yelich and 4 xbh with Gehrig or something very very close to that. Only one I actually was like ok this is dumb is the down 7-1

LOL, if you haven't beat conquest it is because you don't play conquest. You could beat it with one hand on the controller, my friend

I haven't tried but now I'm worried I'll somehow prove to be less skilled than a monkey. Though if you say it's easier than the US Map, that gives me hope. I am chipping away at this with an ice pick to Mt everest. 9 points and counting!!!!!

I dont mind a challenge at all but i have to be motivated (and sober) for the conquest. Lately when i smoke, i have this bad habit of swinging at everything and anything. On lower difficulties in non turn based activities, it doesnt matter because you can put up 5-6 anyway. Its a little different on AS and above though. As it is now, i've taken 4 strongholds in the first 4 moves and im almost done with the 9 million fans goal. After that, it should be a breeze.

Ive also done enough moments to grab Kerry Wood so im grinding his pxp in the conquest and mini seasons.

Finished it Sunday night. Now Showdown on the other hand. My drafts have been sorry. With that said, not the greatest picks to choose from yet.

The conquest isnt that bad really. You just have to take 5 strongholds in the first 5 moves (basically, 5 games on All Star) and then steal 9 million fans in the first 9 moves. After that, the goals are just take X amount of strongholds and X amount of territories.

Yeah I'm not too worried about the All Star games or stealing. Just the simming and starting over part haha. But I will do it for sure. I will find a way to finish this program by 2023.

The Extreme Conquest Map is how Every Featured Inning Conquest should be. Big, Lots of Strongholds, Missions that Involve Strategy and taking a minute to develop a plan...Throw in the small 4 Team strongholds that can be completed in a couple hours for extra XP later in the program.

I'm almost finished with the conquest with only 2 strongholds left. The one thing that I learned from doing this is that the game plays much better on All Star than Rookie and Veteran. CPU pitching on Rookie, and Veteran to a lesser degree, sucks. I simmed everything except for strongholds and only had one really bad result.

The extreme conquest was super easy, no complaints here. I suck at the game so I know I will never beat showdown. Im just happy to have Wood and CHapman, I could care less about Cano and Donaldson. Although I will get them in a couple months when i have enough 25k pxp missions completed. LOL

That may be the case for some, however people have a legitimate point about how the Extreme Program plays, specifically Showdown. I have finished it and yes I don't think people should complain about Conquest and the Moments, but the Showdown was an absolute joke. The game play is so bad and broken that even people who are skilled at this game are cursing and throwing their controllers on their YouTube channels! Common CPU players making plays Trout couldn't make, perfect-perfect with garbage results. Even when I did finish it and win most of it was luck. Lucky draft, some lucky fielding errors and some very lucky hits with the PCI not even on the ball!

SDS have stopped caring about game play ever since Micro transactions have been introduced in the game and it hasn't been more evident than in this year's game!

I think on my best day I could beat Extreme Showdown. But I like to drink and play head to head and the time expense versus the likelihood of failure after an hour has made me decide to put off Showdown until a much later date. Ditto for trying to beat the development team moment. I would much rather get destroyed by another human.

The fact i don't like the extreme program has nothing to do with wanting anything handed to me.

Its the fact we get 50 conquest maps a month, multiple showdowns, & a million moments spread through out offline grinding, i'm sick of doing those things. Thats why I've only completed enough moments to get Wood, and haven't even tried showdown or the conquest, because i've been doing conquest and showdown for a few games and all year, and i'm sick of doing them.
