I still have the 7 run comeback and the 4 to 1 comeback against Diaz. I had Diaz down to no energy bases loaded tie game and he went from not throwing being able to throw strikes to dotting all corners of the zone. Then the Mets homered on 2 straight pitches they had no business touching. It was almost like the game was saying FU it’s over for you, try again. Things like this just make me laugh at how ridiculous the game gets down to the wire. One last chance to screw you over always leaving a good taste in your mouth. Oh well, time to step away and do something else that actually matters. As the other posters said it’s not that we mind a challenge just that the crazy gameplay does pick weird times to ramp up and then you walk away feeling like you wasted your time even trying.

If the three consecutive homers was actually as stated it would be the hardest. However you can just get three homers without an out and have as many hits as you need in between. I’d say the 7 run comeback is probably the toughest of the bunch but I actually think Showdown is the toughest part of Extreme this year and it’s not even really close.

I tried the 8 hrs with Griffey and was HBP 4 times in the first 4 games and walked 3 more. So, I skipped it for now.
I've completed:
Kerry Woods - not bad
Chapman - a little tricky
Othani - got 2 HRs in the first game on my 2nd try, was easy after that
Pujols - again, a little tricky but not bad
Down 2 runs to SDS team on HOF. Hit two 2 run HRs with Mantle (I like that card)Now that I have Kerry, I'll start the Conquest map. I'm curious to see what Moments you guys think are the "easiest" left ..

7 run comeback was the toughest for me so far. I beat Ryan on HOF first try but I felt lucky. I only have Ohtani left to do
-
I haven't done the 7 run comeback or the vs SDS god squad yet but of the ones I have done, 3 HR against cole is the toughest. I pretty much started every attempt with a HR(Soto) and still took a long time
-
7-1 comeback my toughest for sure. Griffey 8HR, Pujols HR and IPs, and Wood 20ks were the easiest. All one try.

The God squad moment is essentially a mini showdown against Ryan except you have to pitch as well, I was able to do it just by taking pitches. Nolan was wild and I just waited for him to walk me or pipe a fastball.

Which do you find most difficult? I have 8 done with the 3 homers with no outs and the 7!run comeback to do. The first 8 did not give me much trouble, these last 2 I have avoided as they mentally seem tougher.
What are your guys seeing?
The hit 3 home runs in a row is not that tough. I used Mullens 99, O'Neil Cruz 99 and Juan Soto 99 and got it on the first try. For me it's going to be the hall of fame game when already down 2 runs, and the come back game on all star. Delgado might also be a bit harder but will see.

Agreed with all but Ohtani, i'm sure i coukd get it done if Brad Keller would just throw a few strikes.

On the Diaz moment he throws 2 types of pitches. Wild pitches that miss the zone and bounce off the backstop perfectly the the catcher so he can throw you out if you try to advance to the next base. Dots at 101 mph that either just barely catch the corner for called strikes or just barely miss to make you chase and get soft contact. I understand patience is required in this game but most of us don’t have hours to sit around and take close pitches waiting for that perfect pitch when we have family obligations. That’s my biggest gripe of all is the time wasted just sitting there taking pitches as the CPU nibbles every single at bat. Would be nice if the CPU would actually come right at you for a change. I’d rather fail quickly and restart then wait forever just to fail in the end.

If I did the math correctly, since I did all the moments, once conquest and showdown are complete I only have to get Wood to Par 4 to complete the program right?

Yes, I think wood missions are 30 program points in total I believe.

This is my point exactly. Agreed
