All the sudden it seems like the last 2 Showdowns have gotten harder

Never had a problem with any showdown until now, and they say it's "rookie" and "veteran". I have to be perfect perfect to get a hit now it seems, just a little off on these showdown missions and it's an out or double play. Seems right about when I blocked those two racist black anti white songs from my playlist ironically.......1)Common When We Move (feat. Black Thought and Seun Kuti) and 2)James BKS New Breed (feat. Q-Tip, Idris Elba, & Little Simz). Just a weird coincidence almost like all the sudden the game got harder because i don't condone racism.

I'd also like to ask SDS why in a game that is labeled "everyone" would they promote such division and hatred such as in the song like this: James BKS New Breed, with lyrics like this: When you look in our eyes you really just scared of us

Imagine politicizing a video game how low do you have to be and how actually racist are the developers, allowing kids to listen to songs like this with obvious racist messages, and swear words??? -
BTW just a fun fact, African Americans weren't the only slaves to settle in America, and slavery still exists in Africa and China and throughout the world, maybe your team should do a little research instead of trying to impose your thoughts on little kids and others, even though you were never a slave.

Okay. I'm going to devil's advocate here.
I've been criticized myself on these very forums about this issue, so I've been on both sides.
If the concern is that of the children (regardless of race, language, team logos, chatting online etc), that's on the parents. Disable the game soundtrack and call it a day. Demographic audience of this product is for the age group of people that can differentiate racism from free speech and artistic expression.
Listening to music in this game isn't going to inherently create a racist child into a racist adult. They are here to play baseball, not sit on menus and absorb lyrics.
I have two boys, 15 and 11. I control their online environments and exposure more so than 99% of the people here on TSN. They don't complain about it because they understand why. It's a dialog between parent and child.
Now your interpretation of these lyrics as racist should be taken up with the artist and record company. Not SDS. If Meghan D Stallion can get cancelled via Twitter, maybe try that avenue.
My above response is probably the nicest one you'll get here, and I hope it makes sense. If you are expecting empathy or edification, I suggest you go elsewhere.

TBH, I had a harder time explaining some June tweets to my 11 year old... Both my wife and teenager saw the error right away.

Have you ever listened to rap music? You can't throw out the racism card because something offends you.

DMX has some spicy lyrics but is some of the best rap out there.
