As a Mets fan I would love it but not fully sure. Could they give Lindor a POTM Henchman card and save McNeil expecting to give him a finest later in the year since I don't know how much better a finest Alonso would be than his HRD card.

He probably has as good a chance as anyone. But I have been watching fangraphs for the last week or so and the top players by WAR seems to flip flop on a daily basis so anything could happen in a week.
One issue I could see is that since he has only 2 HRs this month the card have less power than the other POTM candidates.

Id like to see him get a henchman at least, pretty sure he’s playing with a messed up thumb and still hitting well.

I think it is a good bet. The top 5 in WAR right now on fangraphs are
- Arenado
- McNeil
- Bregman
- Goldschmidt
- Rutschman
Just a few days ago Goldschmidt was dominating every category but a bad day where the Cardinals played a Double header kind of caused him to drop, showing just how volatile the list is.
