All of us deserve better gameplay than what we've gotten over the past few years. I don't know what else would motivate them to do an overhaul...

Maybe the overhaul was planned for next gen, and its really sony's fault for letting scalpers get all the systems and then not doing anything to correct that, so we are stuck waiting for next gen to be widespread enough that they can abandon the old gen.

I really liked the 2k games, but I do enjoy the historical players in TS.

I thought ‘21 was bad, but I have been playing it a lot lately. There is a significant drop in gameplay from ‘21 to ‘22 and I know ‘21 was down from previous years. They have intentionally done this, it is not by accident.

Yes, it's Sony's job to fix how retailers sell their products. This happens with all products, not just the PS5. Happened with the Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo's, hottest toys around Christmas, etc... You can place blame on Sony and SDS for how the game plays, but don't see how you can blame Sony for Supply Chain issues and Retail sales processes for which they have no control.
