    @ChArTeRBuS

Gg. My point, or issue, is that you have 4/4 perfect perfects in both attempts. You’ll probably have 4/4 next attempt as well maybe another. The good/okay/squared seem to be very random, not necessarily the outcomes. I have near dead center swings labeled good and okay which you just went 0/4 on while going 2/4 on weak contact. The next swing can be slightly worse and labeled squared which gives you a grand slam.

If people aren’t good enough to square everything up all day like you, don’t you think good/okay batting .000 vs weak/late batting .500 might get annoying?

This is the most rigged P.O.S carnival game mode they have ever created.

Alright here we go, so I just lost a showdown because of my own nonsense, went into it down 15-6, here is how the entire final boss showdown went:

    Showdown 15-6
    1 1 pitch ground out just early/weak
    2 2 pitch single good/good
    3 1 pitch single early/good
    4 2 pitch f9 good/okay
    5 good/good single 3
    6 4 pitch homerun perfect/perfect liner
    7 3 pitch L9 good/good
    8 3 pitch groundout early/weak
    9 3 pitch groundout good/good
    10 1 pitch lineout good/okay
    11 3 pitch F8 good/okay
    12 4 pitch single good/okay
    13 6 pitch walk
14 1 pitch double play early rolled over
    15 5 pitch walk
    16 6 pitch walk
    17 L9 good/okay
    18 good/good triple play
    19 L7 good/okay outer edge of pci
    20 1 pitch single perfect/perfect liner
    21 single good/good
    22 Double perfect/perfect liner
    23 Homerun Perfect/perfect flyball
    24 single just early/squared
    25 strikeout chasing
    26 Good/okay groundout
27 flyout double play left early
    28 f8 just late weak
    29 good/good single
    30 Good/good Ground rule double
    31 F9 early good

    4/4 perfects
    4/7 on good/good
    1/6 good/okay

I should have beaten it but I stupidly left early on a flyball trying to take third. My own doing
Had a chance but got a ground rule double which stopped my runner at third then I had a bad AB to finish it.

I lost a MTO game because of this.

I’ll save this and show it when players claim “it’s on you”.

Showdown is basically a dice roll. You can consistently square up balls —which is very easy to do on the difficulty given and it’s just out after out after out.

Which imo is not right especially when you are charging ppl to enter.

Look. This is a video game. You can’t say

You need to do A B and C for input and when you do. WE DECIDE if we will ALLOW you to be successful based on algorithms.

That is not a game. That’s a gamble.

I get every once in a while good contact goes to the defense but I mean...you are asking ppl to come back from a 15-0 deficit and then you are perfect perfect good good good squared outing them for 75% of the inputs. It’s just silly.

    Get gud

I don't mind that Showdown is hard. I mind that it is such a big part of the potential points you can earn in the first inning, so much so that many of us won't make it to 300 points. The alternative methods to get those points are just not fun.

I'm giving Showdown a break. I beat AL East once in 3 tries, beat the AL Central twice in 3 tries and have lost to the AL West all 5 tries (Ohtani beat me 3 times, lost on round 1 once (EVERYTHING was lined directly at someone), and lost to Verlander starting 6-15 .. skipped Ohtani). It's driving me up a tree.

That’s rough. Still, it’s not scripted. What you posted was just a flaw in the game which we’ve seen in past years. Git gud.

I’ve completed about 40 or so showdowns at about an 85% success rate. Maybe you’re the dice roll...

Gotta disagree if you have any eyes at all and can take pitches and put your PCI on the ball mot 4 inches below it or over it showdown isn’t hard at all.

You are one of the best players out there and even you lost twice. That tells me a lot.

I think the AL East is a little tough because you face some tough lefties (Snell, Sale, Chapman) throughout the run, with a right handed boss. Sale is the toughest part of it in my opinion. But it’s all doable with patience. Sometimes you get unlucky but not so unlucky it will ruin a run.

Also had a little difficulty with the AL West but that was when I first started doing it and didn’t know how to draft effectively.

Otherwise I have swept through all of the other ones I’ve tried. Usually only failing 1 or two blue missions on the way.

That’s skipping to the final boss down 15-0, since the change to scoring in the missions I’ve failed one and that was 100% on me for doing something stupid
