The squeeze play is rage inducing, but not cheese. If people aren’t aware of that being a possibility then they haven’t watched enough baseball.

Generally no. If you've been trying to cheese all game I would say it probably is, but at that point I should expect it, so it's on me for not stopping it.

First off he has never sacked bunt in MLB. His bunts were for singles against the shift. Once again OP asked the question if it was frowned upon in the community. I responded depends who you do it with. OP brought up that the squeeze is a real baseball play. In real baseball Gallo HAS NEVER SQUEEZED BUNT. That is my point. OP or you can play however you want. Like I mentioned earlier I would have walked Gallo, and there is a way to pitch against the squeeze play. I do not care if someone bunts against me. i know it happens in this game so you have to be ready for it.

If Gallo bunted on me for a win I’d be pretty pissed, Ive never messaged anyone about anything tho. Waste of time. But honestly, I’m sure many ppl around here would never admit to bunting with Gallo, so props for owning it.

There is no debate here. If it’s allowed to be done on a baseball field, it’s fair game. I don’t care if he’s ever done it before or not. Henry Rowengartner never threw a floater until the last pitch of his whole career. There doesn’t need to be precedence.

It makes me yell when it happens to me, but deep down I respect it. Bunts are pretty fair in this game so it's not a cheesy move inherently.

People hide behind "it happens in real baseball". In real baseball Gallo doesn't get asked to bunt, much less squeeze bunt. In MLB the show the game will shift for you taking away some strategy, but they will not stop or mitigate the squeeze. Pitchers get to almost everything, but can't make a play on a bunt. If h/9 matter, why doesn't a players bunt rating stop this kind of garbage?

In this game it dont matter if u get the bunt down or not cause the run will score regardless cause the catcher never tags the runner out at home

A squeeze isn't the same as trying to bunt for a hit.
So I don't think anyone should feel anyway about it.
Doesn't matter who the batter is, it's a squeeze, not bunt cheese. -
