I think you are right except that it will be a Takashi card instead of a retro finest. Griffey Jr. cards don't need retro finest juice to be some of the best in the game. A retro finest would be the best card in the history of the show
Takashi would be cool for sure as the Mariners card. I'd love that.
Feel like the timing with FOD makes me want to say its going to be a 500 HR milestone card.
Yeah after last night, I'm definitely thinking Sr. Is involved (I think that fairly obvious) and that one of the cards will be a Reds card. His card last year was a Milestone card so I agree it'll be a Takashi or a Retro Finest.

Yeah now that you mention it Takashi makes more sense and there doesn't really seem to be any rules with those cards so you can juice the card however they want.

Yeah I think it's a Mariners card this year for sure, he will get a Reds card in the reward path I think.

I mean, it happened in 2017. But it was the first real year they had programs and missions (16s dabbling don’t really count) and they were still trying things out, some of which I kind of hope they revisit (having to collect everyone Roy Oswalt was traded for was genius).

True, but I tend to not count 16 and 17s content into what we have now because as you said they were just testing things out. The current formula pretty much starts with 19. Themed equipment collections stopped after 18 and the free to play POTM started in 20. The griffey program in 17 was pretty outrageous regardless because of the online requirements

They said earn a 2nd half Griffey they ever show what the actual card was an then showed off his dad so it's very possible the are trolling a little here
His 2nd half card was a 96 last year an we have never had a 99 overall card that isn't a MS, Prime, Awards, Finest card before.
The only other card to be a 99 are the Takashi an we just got that )

Yeah something tells me that the 2nd half isn't the final card. Plus they showed he and his dad and they showed Jr playing with both the Reds and M's
