Do you know how to flip cards on the market and do you have the app on your phone? That is the answer to your problem.
I went back to flipping the other day and locked in Brett and Jackie. Cutch will be in my lineup soon.

I learned the hard way this year that buying packs is really not the way to go. You can get packs by playing (especially conquests).

If you say that sincerely, then you don't know the game very well, if at all. There are ways to buy them. And as I said above, packs are there for the earning.

Find cards that have big differences between buy now and sell now( making sure that the 10%tax doesn't eliminate that difference). always list orders never buy/sell now. buy them for as low as you can,sell for as high as you can. don't worry about competition,it will turn the process into a nightmare pretty quick.
I do LS, bronze silver or gold. I check through starting and pick one, start at 1st team on list and go to last team on list, 3 of each that have good margin.
soon as last buy is in, I go to inventory/ dupes then start listing sells.after going through sells twice I ll cancel any buy orders remaining. then finish the rest of sells.
about an hour or 2 after done I ll go back and check and relist. I write down my stub count before starting, by the time I go to relist I'm always above where I started which makes the cards that haven't sold yet 100% profit so it doesn't matter how much lower I have to list( it's very lack of stress doing this way). -

There’s a buy and sell price so buy slightly over the sell price. Sometimes people will outbid you but if you’re patient it should go through.

- Buy a card at a low price.
- Sell that card at a high price.
- Rinse
- Repeat

I have the app and that's how I get most of my stubs. It's really helpful. I just don't have it in Me to spend any time in non online modes. You have point to earning the packs just the amount of luck needed to land those specific players is pretty high

It's funny, I'm the exact opposite. I played some event games at a friend's and in 5 games we scored 3 runs and won 3 hahaha. I just don't find it fun. If I were a better player I would enjoy it. But I completely get where you're coming from.
I flip on the app when I'm watching a baseball game, when playing at a friend's and he's playing g the inning or moment. Sometimes I can even flip at work when it's slow. It subsidizes my whole collection haha.

you dont get the LS players from packs, you buy them to complete the collection.
the only thing the packs do is help with stubs to buy them, of course you might get lucky and not have to buy some of them.(but you shouldnt count on it) -

I am really tired of being poor. Every payday I spend all my earnings on lottery tickets. In the one in a million chance I will win the grand prize. Now I have to walk to work and it's unfair because I see all these cars speed by me. I wish there was a way to attain nice things other than winning the lottery.

Sounds like you have learned your lesson about buying packs.
I came to the realization years ago that there will be cards I won't get. It used to bother me, especially if they were Cardinal players (mainly Pujols), but I have learned to live with it.
They are releasing 99s now and I am convinced that there are, or will be, perfectly good alternatives to every collection card. Alternatives that can be obtained for a much cheaper cost or even free.
