This doesn't narrow it down at all. Are we talking WHIP, ERA, K/9? I think this needs to be defined before people start commenting. This is just all too ambiguous. You might find that some replies are from people that aren't "actual good players" which would defeat the whole purpose of this post. Suppose the majority of replies are from only above average players and you make the wrong choice because you left your criteria way too open ended. You might regret this for months or it'll cost you stubs you otherwise would not have needed to spend because you chose the wrong player and need to buy the other ones. At the end of the day, I just don't want you to get bad advice from the non-target audience and be mislead to make choices you otherwise would not have.
I don't feel comfortable leaving my opinion here yet.

Which is more important? Being an early adopter or saving stubs?
I’m a stub saver because I want every card in the game. Not counting yesterdays cards, I own all but 10. I’m not buying them yet though (even w/ 2.6M in the bank) because I want to earn them (maddux/Vlad/belli/remaining July potms) or because I know they’ll come down eventually (Soto, toolbox rares).
But if you don’t care about that, then get who you want to play with.
How cards play is close to irrelevant.

This is 2022. Many people work remotely, including myself. He may as well. I don’t believe he is the one here proving he’s a child. Even if he is a child, I’d argue he’s more mature than you, but the bar is low.

How does one get a stub count like that? I have gotten to 1 mil but had to get Brett now I cannot afford Soto and Jrod. I may need to pull them in a choice pack.

Every time I get on this forum, I immediately look for posts with the diamond emblem and am yet to be disappointed. I highly doubt you are a grown adult based on your tantrums, insults, and your inability to make a comment without compensating for shortcomings in your own life; but if you truly are an adult posting like this from work then you are truly in need of some serious therapy.
