And immediately im happy to see a 97 Alvarez and a 98 biggio in the potm programs.... then I immediately see why I got burnt out on this years game so early.
Pxp missions need to be gone next year. They take to long, and they require you too constantly be fielding a lineup full of players you don't care for.

That final statement though, I thought that's what people wanted "Make a reason to use more then meta cards"
Biggio is just as good as he looks btw, love his cards

I'll get hik soon enough.
And yes, but stat missions are more user friendly and more satisfying to complete. Imo

More satisfying, sure I can understand that.
Not sure how stat missions are more user friendly though. PXP gets you progress just for playing. More progress for doing well with the card.
Stat missions penalize you for not getting that specific type of hit. It took forever for me to get the Xbhs with AS Joyce because dude wouldn't hit anything but singles. Plus if you get out, you make zero progress.
PXP is kinda bland but its more friendly. The early season thresholds were a bit much but they got better.

Couldn't agree more. A few weeks back I was playing '21 because it was more fun and then last week I was out of town most of the week. Got home a few days ago and had some time last night and decided I would try to work on POTM while doing the Shark map. It is just such a drag constantly doing this PXP thing.
This game this year causes you to constantly be using players you don't necessarily care about to get PXP. I just don't see how a person can complete programs AND get to use a team that really is their team, unless they are playing multiple hours a day, every day.

F stat missions. I’ll take PXP missions over stat every time. They only required 250 for position players this time. You can get that done in 2 games easily.
A stat mission could take numerous games depending on how lucky you get.

I think with a lot of these programs renting the players makes all the difference in the world and not everyone has the stubs to rent them. I have the stubs to rent them, but this time I kind of just didn't think about it much because of how much interest I have been losing in the game. This is the first time I haven't rented and it has been brutal. You are right that you can't knock out a ton in two games, but it is important to have as many of the cards as possible at the start or it will completely change the experience.

Would have the same problem with stat missions too.

I am not a huge fan of the PXP missions but what I hate is that they trickle feed you the POTM cards so you can't do their PXP missions simultaneously. They do it strictly to slow everyone down.

The problem will always be that people used the hit an quit method so SDS found a way to prevent that an reward yhe players who actually play the game
Not saying you did the hit and quit but the pro lem is that the content creators that SDS has partnered with like Koogs would promote that style many of these guys still complain about it.
Pxp is awesome and now that they seem to be finding the sweet spot for hitters at 250 to 300 its a good balance

Completely agree…while I prefer stat missions (total bases is my favorite), the issue now that pxp is more realistic is not pxp. The issue is the design of the programs themselves where you have to use the same cards you are earning. It is just the weirdest structure in the world to me. I know someone will tell me it is not weird, but for me it is and I have more than enough stubs to burn to rent players.
