You may laugh now, but Brian Roberts could be legit. Both of his previous best cards were a 94 and 96 and what I would classify as sneaky good. A 99 could be a monster

So far the ones I'm interested in most without seeing stats are easily O'neil Cruz, Molina and roberts.

Right there with you. Always loved his cards/swing so if they up his power a bit (and seemingly they have to with this being a 99) this card could be special. It’s the one I’m most excited for right now but will wait for attributes.

I agree. And being someone that has played this game since 17 I'm extremely bored of Jackie cards so I don't really care if Jackie is better. I'm not one to use meta cards all the time anyway but Roberts could be legit

Roberts cards slap he was the first card I prestige in 20 I loved that one alot. There are alot of great cards in this set as a whole.
Now I'm interested in how the henchmen cards will look cause they could be bangers as well

I think all of the non- team affinity type programs have had 1 pack of henchman and 1 pack of classics no? So probably 1 pack with some 93-94 primes or something and 1 with some classic finests and monthly awards

I think you are correct, the Hallday program being the exception in a way with the cards along the path.
Personally I would like the program to be more player items then packs just to switch up but I know that wouldn't be well received by the community

Considering how much the All-Star collection for Jackie costs, Brian Roberts will be a great fallback at literally no cost.
All of these Finest Retro cards have been super juiced up so Roberts could end up being comparable to Jackie with the added advantage of being a switch hitter.

Interesting picks for sure. Cruz is a must have. 2nd round is really a toss up . Votto, love the swing but he is a slow lefty first baseman (we don't have any of those), Grienke should have a good pitch mix but I'm not sure he will throw hard enough or atleast have good speed differential between pitches, Yadi might be my pick if they give him some power, two for sure things with him is that he will have great defense and zero speed. The Legends are dark horses until we see stats. Normal Robert's would be automatic for me but we just got Jackie and Biggio. Santo could be really good, maybe he can play short. Kaline could be a monster if he has some sort of defense, sadly my OF is already crowded and Griffey has not even dropped. Interesting picks for sure.

Elly De LA Cruz is too good for me at SS to take O'Neil, tbh.
I'm miles away from Jackie, so maybe I'll take Roberts. -
I think this program has given alot of options to fill a whole in a lineup for people really like this mix
