Program progression problems?

First and most importantly you cannot progress either your archetype or player in DD. In MLBTS22 you can only progress your ballplayers in RTTS.

EDIT: You have to be connected to the SDS servers to get program progression.

**If you only want to hit and don't want to run or field, you must change the settings in settings.
--I recommend that from the locker room you go to:

player lock fielding opportunities (either all or none)

Player lock base running opportunities (either lead runner or none)

You can also get to "mode specific" from in game settings.

these should make it so you only do the tasks you want to do.
Do not sim any games or at bats. You will not get any progression for it that game at all. That is to deter cheaters.

If you play through the games you will get attribute points from fielding and stealing, (assuming your player does that while you only hit) but you will not get archetype progression unless you are the one that fields or steals the base.

If you are just trying to grind for the diamond archetypes and perks, I recommend you do them all as a first baseman and select all fielding opportunities. Lots of put outs makes it much quicker.
