If Devers counts, Yordan does too. I don’t really count the lightning guys as budget bc even though they are technically free, you could sell the tops now guys or the low diamonds for over 150k and just not complete the program. Plus, you have to buy one or more of the low diamonds to complete stage 2 I think. But, Yordan is the best bat in the game. Jesse Winker was essentially the same card last year. They are both disasters in LF, but the bat makes it totally worth it. I think I have 55 hits with him, and 45 are extra base hits. I think 38 are long balls. Plus you get walks like crazy bc no one wants to pitch to him.
You know I actually forgot about Yordan. Good call. I don’t even think he’s that bad in left compared to Stanton or Soto as far as fielding goes

You can complete the MA programs without buying any cards.

Yeah you’re right, I just noticed that doing the July one tonight. I guess I usually buy a couple to get it done quicker. If you didn’t want the lightning or flashback guy though, you could make 300k+ selling these guys when the program is new.
The MA programs are cool though. If you bought the game today, you could have a decent team just completing the July program

I've still been plugging Liover Peguero in at SS, crushes lefties.

Yeah Liocer Is pretty good. I tell you who I think it’s REALLY good is Noveli Marte. I just think he’s considered budget but he’s really good

I was going to try him out when he comes down a bit

I have basically every card in the game and for now I can’t take SS Bogaerts out of the lineup. His swing is nice, he’s always getting clutch hits for me. I usually bat him 6th behind a big LH bat. He’s a good budget option.

Yes... but it takes a lot longer that way. I will do anything to avoid pxp missions... worst grind in the game imo.
