Legend Cards

Am I in the minority because I prefer to not really use legend cards? For some reason this year I prefer to only use current MLB player cards. Sure when I'm grinding programs I use whatever is needed but when it comes to my main team I like to keep it to current MLB players.

I'm the opposite... to me, what makes DD fun is using guys I grew up watching like Randy Johnson and David Ortiz. I use current players too, but DD without legends would get boring fast. Content would be very limited without past players.

I probably wouldn't buy the game if there weren't legends/past players included. Playing with the current roster is fine, but if we were restricted to only that then the game would have pretty limited appeal and get old real quick.

I use a Rockies TT and noticed recently that my starting lineup is all current/prospect players and my bench is all legends. Kind of cool for right now until the legends get their upgrades.

Speaking of legends, when do you think we will see 99 overall legends (or flashbacks) in the main programs? Not complaining, just curious because of how they changed the format of the game.

My guess is the next featured program will have 98 OVR bosses and the following one will have 99s.

I’m weird about using legends. I will only use legends I watched and liked as a kid, or white Sox players. Other than that, I only use current players. And I also don’t like using most of the constantly recycled legend players, so when there are newer legends that played when I was younger, I’ll use those as well.
