Edwin Diaz

…is wrecking me in the NL Showdown. Seems no matter what I’ve done, it follows a very predictable pattern. Double play with the first batter up and then weak pop ups and Ks for the remaining six outs against a ridiculously righty heavy lineup. Simply no good lefty hitters outside of the cards you first draft.

Try BP against him in Custom Practice on a high difficulty. Might help you get used to his delivery/release point.

The duplicate should have been under the custom practice one. Oops.

Diaz pitches can only break one way and that’s away from right handed hitters. He throws a fastball and slider and that’s it. Just expect pitchers on the outside corners

He throws a 2 seamer which breaks toward a right handed batter

Yeah I thought about but the break on his 2 seam isn’t that great.
