Poll: Do any WS Players use Zoom, Strikezone 3, Fish Eye, etc.?
-
SZ2 for me. SZ is just a little too close and I also don’t feel I can judge low pitches as well. It all comes down to personal preference and what works for you.
-
Strike zone 2 and no PCI for me. Topped out at 1000 ranking. I'd say a slightly above average player. Hopefully '20 separates the talent even more

I mainly use SZ 2 or SZ high now. But before that I used offset zoom. Personally I think it’s the only other cam you can try and be competitive with but also be farther back. You don’t see all of your player, but you can actually tell more who your using. Give it a try and see. Being closer though will always be better overall pitch by pitch

I'm trying to transition from strike zone camera to the zoom camera. I just find the game more enjoyable when you can actually see the batter.
My best RS rating was 997. I finished 947 last season while dabbling with new hitting cameras. I used to utilize a strike zone hitting camera with the PCI turned off. I'm not wanting to lose ground due to the transition, so I'm curious as to how many similarly-ranked players use a hitting camera that's not strike zone. If anybody uses a non-strike zone camera, any tips for making the adjustment would be appreciated!
I use Zoom Offset more often than Strike Zone and to me ZO is more enjoyable than SZ, better overall camera than Zoom but not as good as SZ for hitting purposes. When I have the time to play, I do make WS in both cameras. And I do say both because there are some pitchers I can't hit on SZ. Chris Sale is unhittable to me while using SZ but easier on ZO for whatever reason.

I used Offset Zoom for most of 17 and 18. Always made WS when had the time. Zoom is a bit farther away but it shouldn't be an obstacle to prevent you from getting to WS.

I've been a consistent WS player since MLB 16 and I have religiously used Fish Eye the entire time because I wanted to be able to see the batter. Yesterday I started playing around with Strike Zone 3 and had a lot of success with it, so much that I'll probably switch to it full time. It's a good compromise, you still see 90% of the batter but it's also a lot more zoomed in the Fish Eye.

I’ve mad WS every year . I’m at 861 this year and I only use MlB the show 15 camera . It’s just what’s comfortable for me. I also like to see the batter

All of those zoomed in cameras are lame. I personally use fisheye 2, but I get why people like the zoomed. It’s does seem like an advantage to have nothing but the strike zone on your screen, but I like to see the players. People take this too serious and will do anything to win, even if their not really enjoying themselves.

Strike Zone 1 for me, might have to try no pci bc idk what it is at legend my pci feels way more sensitive
-
i dont have a preference for any particular becasue im still gonna swing at every slider outside and fastball above my hitters head
-
I’ve been using strike zone with no pci. The pci just gets in the way and makes me over think everything thrown at me.

Got up as high as 1150 in 17, I usually run up to WS and then grind BR, etc to knock out collections or other cards. SZ is the way to go imo.
